Minneapolis

I know. He even claims to be an independent!! LMAO

Here I'll start since you just want to sling mud and assume the worst.

Core values
- all human lives are of equal value
- all people should be treated equally/fairly under law
- adults should legally be allowed to do most things that don't physically harm others
- personal responsibility is incredibly important
- government role should be minimal but very well done
- near absolute freedom of speech must be protected
- families are the bedrock of a healthy society
- viewpoint diversity is infinitely more important than racial, gender, sexuality diversity
- I believe in God
- subjective opinions and emotions should not determine laws
- people should be free to believe or not believe what they want as long as they abide by law
- we should be respectful and kind to one another

On the Issues
-Anti Abortion

-Pro Gun rights

-Pro Strong Military/Intelligence Agencies

-Eliminate/combine/streamline redundant government agencies.

-Anti Foreign Military intervention (focus on national defense, not interventionism)

-Decriminalize all drug possession, legalize marijuana nationally. Set up clinics where "heavy" drug users can use in a monitored setting. Focus on safe use and rehabilitation. Treat drug addiction as a healthcare issue and not a criminal issue.

-Eliminate all forms of welfare.

-Privatize Social Security.

-Build a wall on the southern border, increase monitoring (physically and digitally) of both the southern and northern border.

-Create a streamlined path to citizenship, prioritize highly skilled immigration.

-There should be no federal wage standard. Government should not interfere with private business.

-State and Federal government should be doing everything possible to promote business, manufacturing, and innovation to stay in the United States.

-The environment should be protected (less use of non-biodegradable materials, emphasis on renewable energy/nuclear).

-Eliminate the Department of Education. Allow states to set their own educational standards. Eliminate standardized testing.

-States should have a voucher program in place so children can attend the public school of their choice.

-Expand charter school programs

Those are the ones that immediately come to mind.

Another trump misleading statement to fit his narrative with no basis in fact. But how dare anyone question his BS.

80% ?? I'm not doubting that outside influences are stoking the fire of violence. But I don't believe 80% of protesters are outsiders.

I don't know how they came up with that number but i'm sure they will say it to make the people of their city look good

OMG...you're so pedantic.

Who cares about the percentage? The fact is that people (Antifa) are coming to these cities and turning things as violent as possible.

There's no legal justification for kneeling on another human being's neck while said human is begging you to get up because he can't breath. The fact that this happened in the line of duty when the suspect was subdued and any threat was neutralized makes this worse, not better.

Prosecution is coming. Hopefully, justice will prevail. It won't bring him back. It's a terrible tragedy. These cops have a sick syndrome or something. That job hardens you to do stupid stuff.

You have to figure statistically, anyone that has the mentality to be a cop, has the potential get angry and kill people.

Like a rogue soldier who is already a psych job, that reveals his inner monster.

Think there are lots of problems in law enforcement and local government esp. in large communities. Hard to recruit, retain and fire the bad actors. Many cities police dept. are way understaffed and can't hire cause city broke or bureaucrats wasting money on other things...can't think of much more vital service then to protect citizens. Mayors and Governors not prepared and/or not willing to do the right thing to stop riots...guess they don't want to be labeled or value their jobs too much smh.

Cops put their well being on the line arrest law breakers then see charges dropped, plea deals made etc and criminals back on the street (not talking bout petty crimes). Some Prosecutors, judges, mayors doing political correct thing when they know criminals should locked up.

Worked in management for a long time and I knew who the bad employees were and their coworkers knew to but had so many impediments to hold accountable and fire when warranted, got really frustrating. Legal and HR department were so risk adverse they tied your hands with support from senior management.

Seems lots of people on here worked in education and guessing you knew bad educators who had no business there...school administration knew it to but too hard weed them out...help find new profession. Not saying most are not good teachers/educators...thankless job in lots of cases under paid and appreciated. Have to put up with kids/parents that have no morals, respect for anything/anybody.

Cops are underpaid imo.
Set the bar higher on qualifications, expectations, and performance standards for police and give supervisory/management tools and support to weed out the bad cops. This cop that murdered I think had numerous complaints on file and if truth be known bet most who worked with him and supervised him including chief knew he was rotten. Would venture a guess nothing happens to Management who may have been complicit with keeping this jerk around.

Don't have the answers and know this is a tough issue but what we have is not working and needs changing. Continuing to do the right things are not going to yield better results.
