After completing a 21-6 campaign a season ago Miller head coach Scott Brakebill has a rebuilding process this season, but remains optimistic heading into a new season.

"Our team this year is in the process of a complete remodel. We lost 4 very solid senior starters from last years team and only return 3 contributors from that team that gave state champion Crane its toughest test in last years sectional", commented Brakebill.

"We do have 5 seniors that have experienced all of the past success and are looking to continue the winning tradition here at Miller."

6-foot-2 inch junior Riley Jack returns after earning all-conference and all-district honors to lead the Cardinals. Other key players this season will include: Jordan Moots, sr, 5'11 Fred Sattler, sr, 6'2 Landon Steele,sr, 6'6 Stewart Parnell,sr,5'10 Jesse Sparks, sr, 5'10

"We are excited about our underclassmen coming up", added Brakebill. "Some of them will be relyed on heavily this season at the varsity level. Overall, we will have great depth and competition at each position that will only make us stronger as the season moves on."
