Class 3 Festus receiving votes for the Top 10???? Look I know this is just to promote the sport, but you may want to check to see where those votes came from and discount any future input. There has to be a little credibility to this.

Sorry, I have to go on a soapbox, but does anyone else find it a little amazing how the top teams in Class 1 are always from Southeast Missouri? Look at the top four teams in the state and they are all in the same district together (Lesterville and Valle Catholic in District 4, and Eminence and Winona in District 5). I think if the strength of volleyball continues to improve at the high school level, there should be two divisions at the state tournament (like how they do football). It's really not fair to all of these teams down here to know that they are one of the best teams in the state and just because they are in a tough region of the state that they will not get the chance to advance to the Final Four. For many of these small schools, volleyball is all we have, which may explain why so many of these smaller schools are so strong, but I think it speaks highly of the values placed on this sport particularly in these small schools in the area. That's not to say that volleyball isn't upheld in other parts of the state in other classes; I'm just merely making an observation and stating my opinion. I guess nowadays it seems like there is a reverse effect in which Districts are the hardest part and the state tournament is a breeze, if that makes any sense.
