Fauci does know more than us. He predicted a much higher death toll after he told us Covid19 wasn't a threat.

He knew if you over predict you are safe. (2.4 million) but if you under predict you're so fired. Same for modelers.

They can't predict the numbers 2 weeks out.

Then you have the Gavin Newsome progressive idiots of the world. 40 million people, 3000 deaths. Oh, shut down for 3 more months. Which means the death of economy in California. Then he back tracks says the locals can make the decision to slowly open.

There's no serious case the number is less than 82,000. Deaths from infectious diseases are always understated due to undertesting.

Get back to me when people that have had this get down the road a few years and see if hasn't damaged some vital organs even when it didn't kill them right away. This thing is attacking pretty much all major organs, we'll see how much percent damage it causes.

A quick look at the history of suicide in the US would say, of course, but that it's nothing like the scale of a pandemic.

Suicide, while drastic, is less meaningful than the general decline in living standards that results from an economic downturn. Putting millions or even tens of millions of people into poverty is a horrible outcome.

But I have some friends in the healthcare field as well and I, too, have been peppering them with questions. And that’s where I get my statements, statistics, and theories from. We obviously differ. That is fine.

But the data speaks for itself. I shared it with you yesterday. Those numbers came from the CDC website. I understand your concern for the virus. I do. But I don’t think you see the economic impact it is having. 36 million+ unemployed.

For example, if you are under the age of 24 you have a better chance of getting struck by lightening than dying from Covid. 60% of those who've died of COVID-19 in the U.S. were over 75. Almost 80% were 65 or older. As many as half of deaths have been in nursing homes. Let’s protect the elderly! Everyone else is fine.

Deaths are not the only issue. There are people who get sick and eventually recover.
What kind of long-term issues will they have?
We don’t really know yet.
