Any reason that isn't against discrimination laws......better?

I may not have read it but I would also guess that the average gate agent and flight attendant on the subcontractor running that flight hasn't read it all either.

This guy is a victim of an assault. I hope he takes them to the cleaners. Before this I already disliked UA. I will make sure I avoid them from now on.
In my experience, the bizarre behavior from passengers and staff is getting worse. Maybe a large monetary judgment in favor of this victim will calm some people down.
The sickening part, most of the passengers sat on their hands or recorded on their stupid phones, instead of standing up to these bullies.

Those bullies were apparently some kind of airport of police officers. When I saw the video I was wondering, what kind of police officers wear blue jeans on the job?

UA must be against Asian, drug pushing, gay physicians! Call the ACLU! The Southern Poverty Law Center!
Then again, UA could've just sold the number of seats they had available on the flight and saved themselves all this hassle. Seems like good business to me.

Delta does it right. Overselling is fine but you should auction off the compensation in advance so people have no room to complain.

Apparently, this "victim" (Dr. David Dao) is a convicted drug dealer who also traded prescriptions for sexual favors.

Still doesn't solve UA's overbooking problem, but if someone's gonna get roughed up it may as well be someone like this.

If this is true, all I can say is "Bahahaha".
