Rankings, in general, are pretty worthless but especially after week 1.

Rightfully so. I think they should’ve done even more about the recruiting. Class 1-3 is heavily rural. It’s not anywhere near the word “fair” to 99.9 percent of the schools. Yes, life isn’t fair, but there’s a disadvantage that can be addressed and can be fixed? Why not fix it. BO can’t be addressed since they are not private. But everyone knows they do it as well. They have the entire Jeff City area to do it.
Week 1 matchups do not tell how the rest of the season will turn out. I wish these big match ups would play later in the season. CBC/ESTL both would be firing on all cylinders by week 5 or 6 and then we could really see how good they are.
Idk. They were even with West Plains, and beat Park Hill South and Staley in Summer camp.
Y'all have imo the best current program in the lower 3 Classes. Facilities are second to none. So much to be proud of.

No, but Lamar beat BO in a title game. But this is a entirely better BO team. I don’t think many will complain about BO. They have done it right.
Not entirely correct. Lamar played 2020 State Championship game at BO. Nice facilities..long walk to the field.
They had played BO. But it wasn’t at their field. It was at the dome. Which was the best place to play a title game. Must’ve not remembered, at least I hope so. That was a great game.
