Maybe now we can get a true conservative to lead the house instead of a crybaby

Guess the Tea Party wins again!!!

Please send this message to any Liberal RINO Democrat Non Conservative
Republicans...

If winning means voting for you,
then we would rather lose...

Go home to California where you belong...

Watch it be Paul Ryan

There may not be anyone else who can get 218 votes

The donors are not going to let the speaker be a non establishment person. The fact that if isn't McCarthy doesn't mean it's suddenly going to be a crazy person like Louie gohmert

The more I think about this, the more I think they are replacing McCarthy with an establishment R who is more likely to get the votes. They whipped and felt he wasn't the guy. That's why he quit now - so they can name their new candidate.

Nobody wants that job. It is a death wish! If any Pub has political aspirations that job is a deal breaker. Oh wait I can't use the word deal that is not in the Pub vocabulary.

You must be forgetting that the Conservative caucus won't vote for anyone the establishment puts forward. I don't see how they are gonna get who the "donor class" wants.

Peter King will be next to be let go...lol

The whole house votes for the speaker, not just republicans.

They will when they remember who funds their next campaign.

The establishment will not be picking anyone truly insane.

That's not going to happen. It's truly amazing the amount of power the Tea Party thinks it has. Their little stunts have hurt their brand, not helped it.

The Tea Party has really achieved nothing. Being disruptive is not an achievement. Name a big change they have made? Something that actually changed our lives in a positive way.

Not sure what you mean by brand???
There is nothing to sell.

Either your for a more traditional America or your not.

Granted in today's world of LGBT, illegal aliens, abortions, an $18 trillion national debt etc it's ok with a lot of RINO Republicans to be liberal...
for US, not so much.

The Republican Party as we see it, no longer exist.

Funny how now the best friend a Republican may have is a Democrat...lol

Yep we as a nation are better off with the government doing nothing at all than most of the legislation that gets puked out of Washington

One achievement has been to take over 70 percent + of State Governments across the country.

I guess that could be good or bad based on your perspective...

And the states are too broke to fix their infrastructure. An article in our local paper told how many bridges in the state are on the critical list. One of them goes through the heart of Poplar Bluff and a couple more cross the Mississippi River. When those that cross the river are closed it will mean LONG detours for those that use them to get to work or trucks that deliver goods elsewhere in the heartland. That doesn't even mention all the water/sewage plants and the sewer systems themselves in towns across the country that are not up to snuff. You know most towns can't afford to upgrade them. Where will the money come from for those issues? I'm quite sure the folks YOU put in office ain't goin for any tax increases.

Why not use some of that $500 million you stole from the American tax payer to fix the roads?

Oh that's right...
You wasted it on that liberal pipe dream called Solyndra.
Did I mention that they went bankrupt???

Defend Iraq.it's a hell of a lot more money. But Cheney's company did well.

$500,000,000.00 wasted on another liberal, "Save The Planet" utopia dream.

Just where is this renewable energy you keep talking about?

From what I heard it's in China since they put Solyndra out of business with their cheaper version.

Solar Energy today is no closer to being the next Exxon Mobil than Wind Energy is to being the next Missouri Power & Light.
Admit it, your liberal belief in renewable energy was wrong.

Did I mention that Tesla has a great new battery operated car that will "Save the Planet" also?

Cost ???
Just under $101,000
Base Price

I don't have a whole lot of 'liberal' beliefs and if you have been paying ANY attention to my posts on here you know I'm not nearly as liberal as you try to make me out to be. YOU on the other hand are WAAAY out there on the right if you believe half of what you post on here. I'm pretty much in the middle of the political spectrum so which one of us is an extremist?

Extremism is in the eyes of the beholder.

Your middle of the road common folk is my liberal nut...

Debbie Wasserman Shultz
for example...

solar is already economically viable with no subsidies in many parts of the country to the point that states like Arizona and Hawaii are having real trouble managing the impact of all of this solar energy on their grids. The price of solar technology has declined significantly and continues to go down.

This is what is really going to cut demand for fossil fuels in the long run - the cost of cleaner energy is plummeting

Batteries are coming down too. The big tesla plant is designed for them to produce a car that costs 35-40k. And the entry level tesla is already under 100k.

The real world? Renewables and natural gas are growing rapidly and coal is dying.

The real problem with solyndra is the government is not good at picking winners. It's better off taxing gas/carbon to make that tech less desirable than trying to invest in specific companies.

Scout I guess we could use your line of thinking and still be traveling by horse and buggy. No sense in trying to improve things it might cost money we need to spend on wars.

Translation ;

The US Government will choose for you, the tax payer which energy source you will use.

US consumer ;
But I'm happy with my $2.09 a gal gas.
This is much cheaper than renewable energy your selling.

US Government ;
Not after we get through over taxing oil companies so our nonviable product becomes viable.

US consumer ;
So renewable energy really is just a pipe dream that "you", the liberal media and it's followers have chose for US ?

US Government ;
Yes...
Yes it is...
