Dora is at #1 in Class 1 in the latest poll that I saw.
I guess breaking the rules has its advantages.

I expect West Plains boys to return to the top 10 in the next month or so if they play to their potential.
They’re 10-4 if I’m correct, maxpreps doesn’t have some of there games from the Blue & Gold updated on their schedule. West Plains has their final regular season game against Sikeston, which I think will definitely give us a gauge of where they’re at.
On a side note, Scott Womack(West Plains girls coach), recently got his 500th win and the lady zizzers are hanging onto the last top 10 spot in Class 4

I think in Class 2, everyone is sleeping on East Atchison(Tarkio & Fairfax). Their boys are 11-1 and not ranked. Only loss is to Class 1 undefeated Mound City. (Correct me if I’m wrong, I’m going off of maxpreps and the few contacts that I have in the area) Girls are 12-0 and are ranked 6th in Class 2 I believe.

From what I know, East Atchison girls are really really good. They are in the conversation.

East Atchison boys are in the same district at East Buchanan. EA is a seasoned group and definitely have some scorers, but if you look at their schedule, they unfortunately only play class 1 schools being that far up in the corner of the state. On top of that, many of the schools they play are very low-end c1 schools. I think they could be the 2 seed in their district, but it will be hard for them to matchup to East Buchanan, which is the same story for most schools in C2. Kilgore is a really special player.

People on the Switching FT shooter thread have said they believe the triplets are out 1 game and Coach is suspended 3, punishment by the school. Wonder if MSHSAA will tack anything on.

Update on East Atchison girls, they’re now 14-0.

Boys will get a rematch with Class 1, undefeated, top 10 mound city in a few weeks so that should tell us more. Lost by 12 to them in the mound city tournament championship.
