His agent said the Rams asking Sam to take a pay cut is "silly".
He has given the team sooooo much for their money I can see
his point. Just kidding. Then Bradford defenders will still say he
had no talent around him. !@#$%&++?

They should give Bradford a bonus for his pain and suffering because they wouldn't get him any protection. If he was on a construction job OSHA would have fined his employer for safety violations and any good lawyer could get him a big award for his injuries.

Do you follow football? Why did Manning take one?
So his team would have more funds to sign better
O linemen or receivers. Because he is the leader Sam never was.

Isn't part of the reason Manning is in Denver
because he wouldn't play for less in Indy?
Manning with his pay cut will make 15 mil, Sam
makes 13.5. Big deal. Manning has outlived
his playing days while Bradgord is just in the
middle of his money making. If Bradford's bank
account was as fat as Peyton's maybe he to
would agree to less.

Typical union liberal. The porcelain doll cracks into 100 pieces when he is barely hit and has been the most overpaid nfl player of his generation

Why should Bradford do what manning did? Manning has many other interests (aka revenue streams) outside of football. Bradford does not. Bradford didn't make the Rams sign him to this contract.

Would you take a pay cut at your job?

LOL OK. Bradford sits dead center in starting QB pay. 16th highest paid QB. Matt Ryan makes 20 Mil. What I think is ridiculous you praise Manning for taking a cut from 19 million to 15 million and he had a hohum season last year while Tom Brady just won his 4th Super Bowl and he makes 11.5 mil. What kind of money would every team in the league besides 3-4 throw at that guy?

I have done this twice in my career, yes. on a much smaller scale for similar reasons that Manning did.

13.5M/year for not playing 2 of the last 3 years.
Sounds like the post overpaid athlete of his generation.
Good try though.

So you took a pay cut at a job you stayed at or accepting a new position at a new company?

Interesting.

Took a pay cut so we could hire an additional coach.
Took a pay cut so I could pay assistants more.

If you werent a guy that "trashed" Bradford every chance you get, maybe more people would listen to you opinion on this.... then again maybe not

I am interested in finance.
Bradford is among the worst ROI I can think of.
He should take a pay cut and compete for the starting
job just to be a decent human being.

The Rams willingly signed him to this contract. The only obligation he has is to fulfill the parameters of his contract. It's not his job to fix the organization's mistake. I wouldn't take a $4M pay cut and I doubt many other people would either, especially if you signed a contract.

Bradford is made of glass because he had no protection and his knee got ripped up twice?

You need to stick to girls B ball or softball.
Bradfords last knee blowout he was hardly touched.
He missed a year in college and already two in the nfl.
Dude is soft. 60 million dollar contract for zilch.
Move on bruh.

So is he soft like RGIII? Bradford played more games in his first 3 seasons (16, 10, 16) than RGIII has in his first 3 (15, 13, 9). And RGIII got hurt when NO ONE touched him. That is soft.

I bring up RGIII as he seems beloved by many on this board while few seem to have much love for Bradford.

RG3 has actually taken a team to the playoffs.
His ROI is much greater as he came in under the
new salary scale and made a fraction of what the
Porcelain panty waste made.

At 27 and being 6'4 and 225 Im going to guess the "Porcelain Panty Waste" as you put it, could rip your head off. Why do have to play your tough guy BS in every post? The dude won a Heisman and was the NFL rookie of the year and youve done what? By the way moron I said as you put it because its actually waist not waste.

1. The urban dictionary says waste and waist are both acceptable, but waste makes more sense.
2. That was my size in high school. Before decades of lifting. I would crush him.
3. He would look like a deer in headlights just like he does every time he throws a red zone pick.
4. Chris Weinke won a Heisman too. Bahahaha.

1.Pantys go on a womans waist hence the saying "hes a panty waist" refers to a guy being soft like a woman.
2.I have no idea but find it doubtful. You talk to much to be that much.
3. Congrats you got what you wanted a new cheaper QB enjoy.
4.Weinke didnt win AP Offensive Rookie of the year nor does ho hold the record for completions without a pick as a rookie.

The waste they are referring to is left over residue. Use your imagination.
Why would it be an insult to be called waist?

Bahahaha

Just cant fix stupid............

You have proved that over and over..
But a broken 3peat is better than no 3peat at all.

I was referring to your comment about him being soft and getting hurt. Getting hurt has nothing to do with salary. You're just trying to deflect by interjecting something that wasn't in my original reply - salary. Let's discuss the soft comments.

Well Sam has lost a season in college and two in the NFL.
I would say he is injury prone. As in soft.

RG3 has been almost as injury prone. I'm not one of the
RG3 defenders. He was dynamic his rookie season before
getting hurt. That injury last year makes him look extremely
brittle. As in soft.

RGIII also lost a season in college (2009 - 1st half of 3rd game. Done for the year) to a knee injury. I would say he is at least as injury prone as Bradford, if not more so.

Weren't both Rookie of the Year winners? The only reason RGIII isn't the worst ROI is because the rules were different when he signed as opposed to when Bradford signed. According to ESPN Dollars blog, RGIII had "earned more than any other rookie in NFL history before throwing his first regular-season pass,". If you don't think he would have had a HUGE contract under the same rules as Bradford, you're kidding yourself.

It is what it is, and injuries happen. It sure appears that Bradford's injuries are legitimate. Not iffy injuries that he is milking.

There are other players on the Rams who restructured their deals to help the team. Sam would not have been appreciated if he stayed around

The Rams are going into the season 12 million under the cap please inform us who restructured? Quinn was a higher cap hit than Bradford would have been. After the two of them Chris and Jake Long are the only others over 10 mil a year. Jake Long makes 10+ mil a year and for the second straight season has had a torn ACL. Is he to a Panty Waist who should renegotiate his contract or be booted? If a team says "we will pay you 15 million" you take the freakin money. Every play may be your last one, GET PAID.
