Who can knock off Central in the MAAA. I think Fredricktown, AV and Farmington will be right there with them. Next I think NC and an improved Potosi team will be there. Who has new coachs? Potosi and NC.

Now that the season has started, who is the MAAA front runner for the girls? Some still unbeaten and several with 1 loss?

It still has to be Central. Then NC, Potosi, Fredricktown and Ste Gen all seem to be next. Should be a great battle for second.

I agree, I think right now it's Central and then quite a few other teams that can beat each other on any given night.

MAAA regular season has begun...Any changes in thoughts from earlier? The large school teams all have good records with only 2/3 losses. The small schools also have teams with very few losses.
Central, I think is the team to beat still. The rest of the games look like coin toss games. Should be a really fun January.

The conference should be fun but districts is right after that in March with the same large schools minus Central battling for a chance to win a district. I think the district(class 4 district 2) has about 5 teams that could win it depending on who is playing well at the time being, I'm giving Fredericktown the nod just because of their guard play and some size down low.

Having said all that I think unless something weird happens the Lady Rebs will win the conference.
