This will be a very interesting game, I probably take Maryville though by a touchdown 42-35. Should be a lot of fun, does Lutheran North have any fans that travel? I'm wondering how big the crowd might be...
Maryville fans travel very well. Lutheran North fans... not so much. A few, but it will definitely feel like a home game for Maryville from the stands.

Their head coach is a pos. I dislike him on several levels.
they care about style points. They want to rub it in to the rural schools. That is where this all started with scheduling BO and Maryville. BO faced LN twice and BO won twice and faced them again and still won. Does that bother them, yup. Sportsmanship is not in their language.
Maryville been running was scores up on people for a decade and a half. Not likely to find much pity for them in NWMO.
It’s the exact same with MICDS and anyone left in the metro that will still play them. They do that shit to tiny Lutheran South, it’s sad to watch.

Absolutely awful! EVERY Coach at every level needs to understand the importance of good sportsmanship. One day this will bite that HC in the behind and all the others who "rub it in". No sympathy even (maybe especially) when it happens in this area.
It looks like they have a 4.5 point lead in district points and the 2nd place team in that district is facing a 1-6 opponent next week, so makes me wonder if they were trying to get as many points out of the win as possible.
Not saying that their coach isn’t a jerk or that he wouldn’t have done it regardless, but I just wonder if that may have factored in to the decision to go for 2

Still not true. Coaches absolutely want the best seed they can get and the best possible matchups. Especially is very strong districts. Anyone that thinks differently hasn’t been a head coach
