lsu just too much coupled with clemson being beat up.

I’ll take it! Can we get @MOsportsStaff in on this to shutoff the losers account?
That’s not going to stop you from creating another, but it’s a win in my book.

I take that bet. No way LSU beats Clemson with a point spread like that. Loser has to delete Mosports account

What do you mean? You think 5.5 is too little? Too much?

I'm shocked it's under double digits. Last I saw public money is overwhelmingly on LSU, but I haven't looked lately.

I was replying to OP, a 30 pt spread is absolutely delusional.

A 5.5 spread is pushing it, but I think that's about right. LSU might win, but they aren't going to beat Clemson by double digits. This is why the house wins more often than not, because the public repeatedly proves they are willing to forget everything they've seen play out before and get caught up on the hype train year in and year out.

Clemson hasn't lost a game in over 2 years and that last loss was an 18 pt loss to eventual champion Alabama. Which happens to be their worst loss since 2014. And we expect that type of team to suddenly lose by double digits? No reasonable football fan should think that at all.

Yeah 30 is ridiculous. 5.5 is too low. Somewhere around 10 is right IYAM.

The way LSU has been playing unless they have an extreme letdown, a 14-28 point win isn't out of the question. They've been flat out gutting other teams.

that knucklehead op didnt post a vegas type point spread. it was a scoring prediction based on years of educated guessing sprinkled in with wishful thinking.

My ultimate point was this game is going to be a one possession/fairly close game.

The other points I made were 1) There is no way LSU beats Clemson by 30 and 2) Everyone who is flooding Vegas with LSU picks because they think a 5.5 spread isn't large enough is crazy. Vegas wants you to think LSU is that much better than Clemson, but I think they know Clemson is pretty close to LSU.

And while I'm at it maybe my third point would in fact be 3) If you're educated guess/wishful thinking tells you LSU is 30 pts better than Clemson then you've got waaay too much wishful mixed in with your educated! (Of course if you are right you can come right back here and call me the dumb ass that I am :D)

prolly too much wishful...lol

Yeah LSU was on a different level. Joe Burrow put up better numbers than all those times I made myself the 99 overall QB for the Mizzou Tigers on NCAA Football 2013. There's never been a player who had a better season than he did this year, there's no denying it any longer. I'm a fool!
