He's listed as from Mizzou by the NFL. All he did at boomer was get fat and out of shape.

Now, I don't defend it at all. I even said, on this board, that I would cheer for him, but did not think OU should have taken him.
and you are right, in the respect, that people should act a certain way and you should be able to expect that. The deal was he had not acted appropriately for the two years previous..... I just dont see how you can't see it as a plus that he did not have any of the same problems over the past year as he had before.
The guy deseves credit for aparently cleaning up his act.. but, since he is not a Tiger any longer, you don't see it that way for some reason.

I certainly didn't defend his domestic abuse. I did think he deserved a second chance after being busted the first time for pot. I expect people to act a certain way, and I don't give people credit for acting like a decent human being. AP missed a full season for whooping his kid and crossing the line. If he ends up a Viking after sitting out 15 games then yeah I am ok with that.

On another note.....How's your turkey season going Drop? Mine is about like my golf game and it sucks. Opening day had 5 buddies hunting too close to their feeders and got an award from a couple of conservation agents...

Man I had an "ok" season. no bird this year. Had a few come in close but no shot. I was in Chicago the last 7 days so they were marked off as well as this weekend.

Appreciate the offer and will take you up on it next year. I have been on a year round lease in Texas County since the late 90's. Close to 1500 acres of big timber with no fields. Tough to get a gobbler away from hens when you can't pattern them for sure. We occasionally are lucky enough to land a nice buck or a 25 lb. plus gobbler just not very often. However, we use it for more than hunting. Usually make it over at least one weekend a month and/bow hunt (during season) and/or ride 4 wheelers with family/friends. Don't have much to offer in return except we do have some of the best dove hunting in the state. Dexter/Stoddard County is farming country and we have a group of guys that make the first 3 days of season a redneck holiday. One thing I always liked about officiating for Coach Stolzer was he liked to talk bow hunting. He was damn near obsessed.....

I would figure that you would know the difference between a city ordinance/fine for speeding and other illegal acts, but I guess if you made me pick a side I would rather a kid be kicked of the team for speeding then have a University that allows illegal drug use and abuse of women to be a part of their image.
