LN on X is a clown show

If Joey is posting a ton you know he is worried about the game. If he knows it is going to be a blowout you don't see anything until after the game.
Again. Again. Again. Lutheran North brings a resume no other Kearney opponent has this year. Much as I loved what I saw last Friday night in Q3 it was against a lower tier D (context). This week they face far and away the best secondary to date. What if LN is successful loading the box against the run and forces KMO to beat them thru the air? What if there are a number of fumbles/turnovers? Key in game injuries?

Yeah frankly Joey has plenty to worry about....................given that I do think the locals prevail but it will not be anything near easy.

You hit the nail on the head. So many things can happen. I watched LN dismantle BO who is a well disciplined/coached team. Granted BO doesn't have the size or speed of Kearney but that is still a darn good football team. Kearney is going to have their hands full. I don't know who to cheer for this week. My disdain for LN or Joey being insufferable for another year. It is a hard choice to make. LOL

Which version of Joey are you talking about he has so many names now I can't keep up....LOL

Well I've said many times always watch out for top teams who "get out of jail" i.e. escaped the huge upset the week before. 9 times out of 10 they play far better the next game PLUS everyone needs to heed the Ritter loss factor. That had to awaken the remaining STL privates..............

You all act like this is gonna be easy. I'd recalibrate that there are many variables that can swing big games like this.
Variables:

Special Teams
Hustle
Defensive play
Line play both sides of ball
Discipline
Preperation
Team speed
Strength

The issue I keep going back to is Karney has the advantage in all 8 of these buckets….

What about secondary? How many INTs does LN have this season? What about turnovers? Now I am sounding like a broken record..............

I think Kearney is going to win. Team beats talent. But don't let them open up the tap, its had to turn off once that stream gets going. They score in bunches.

Yeah. Don’t throw the ball into that ball hawking secondary when they drop 3 guys 15 yards back.

Against PWnorth they had 3 dudes who can all play on my 7on7 team any day of week 15-20 yards deep every snap.

Get those guys at the LOS and run it at them and then go deep with Grant noland if they pull up safeties.

It’s an easy game and win in every other facet of game

St. Mary's did the same in Q4 in Smithville. In saying that I don't see the flow of that game being same as this Saturday.

Assuming you complete the deep ball in a game that will be very cold and could be quite windy and now the NWS is starting to hint at SNOW.

I’ve seen enough of Kearney to know what I would do. I’d run Ham package every snap with the real QB and have #19 be a single wr, if they try and stop ham throw to single coverage 19, otherwise if the safety over top go crack back motion with 19 and let thr big fellas bury LN into next week

This favors karney by another 10 pts, as you all keep stacking the deck against these STL fraudsters it’s going to be 40-0 quick!

Lmao. Don’t discount the north kids as being tougher in the cold. Theo, Grant, Joe all look like norsemen to me and the beavers are literally Vikings? Didn’t they come from Canada?

at BLVD Nights a few nights back and got to talking with a few of the entertainers. It came up that class 4 MO might never have been as good as this years top talent. Said another way, this years class 4 teams are arguably the best MO has ever seen.

Go a step further and it could be the best class 4 talent in the country. See what LN did vs a 7A Natioanlly Ranked alabama school.

Food for thought but remember don’t eat the food at BLVD…

On a serious note, if the following things didn’t happen I would believe the hype around LN.

They should have lost to PKWY north and barely beat a team that I think is worse than Smithville.

They got destroyed offensively and defensively against a CR team who would lose to platte county by 50. Won the game due to turnovers and special teams against a team that was equally horrendous at them.

Maryville game wasn’t great - 3A maryville played them ok.

They’re not fast

They’re not strong.

They’ve sneaked out a couple games that could have gone either way.

Kearney hasn’t really had a close game but when it was close vs WBurg karney literally looked like homicidal maniacs.

LN isn’t better at football is what I keep going back to.

I’m going to set the line at Kearney -13.5
