St. Mary's had a top end advantage with superior D1 players over Smithville. Not the case this time. Kearney has more college prospects and more D1s. LOL
Have you ever seen a couple of pissed off Beavers? I have but only at home.
Has anyone seen the combine stats of LN? 40s, Vert, Bench etc? I’d be real curious who actually has the better prospects…

I used to see and say hi to the legit Rufus at the Woodlands late 80s-early 90s when it was THE place to be in KC especially Friday nights!
Blair Oaks had that honor for a few years. The posts they made after they beat them last year was like they just won the Super Bowl. So if they beat Kearney, expect the posts to just continue.

We’ve seen the film and we are unimpressed. I don’t know about beating a D2 team but Kearney can put fitty on you.

NOBODY knows what is going to happen Saturday. Once you get to this level, though, you are just talking about whether either is extremely good or elite. The "sleepers" are all tucked in for the winter.

Was talking with a few folks at Kearney Married Women’s night out where we play strip bingo together.
Conversation centered around LN V. karney.
Someone brought up we haven’t seen Kearney’s D not be absolutely dominant regardless of competition this season. Like they essentially 3 and out everyone they’ve played with the exception of 3 long drives this year?
Also, LN has struggled, often this season and should have lost multiple games.
I’m not here to burst anyone’s bubble but the ferocity out of that defense and the lack luster Line play by LN could make for a turbo.
The only way LN keeps it close is if their great athletes take over, the issue I keep going back to is Karney is actually faster both in track and on the field.
Also, the mobile qb warrensburg had was what it would take to compete vs a team like Kearney, I’m not kidding when I say that was a worse beating I’ve seen a QB take at any level of football the last 10+ years. The LN kid can’t move as well and his line isn’t as good as Wburg, I’m not trying to belabor this point but things could get really ugly.
Factor in the lack of discipline and the lack of special teams and you could see 50-0 quick

This is a key point. Many of those kids look lazy from the start of the game on. They’ve never gone against the level of physicality they’re going to see on both sides of the ball. The dline doesn’t appear to be “that” physical, I’m always amazed at how quick they’re vs how powerful they’re. They seem to disengage blocks extremely quick, more like a panther than a bull.
The oline is smash mouth and that’s where those lineman are in trouble mix in the FBs and I can see LN not finishing this game. Forfeit after 3rd quarter and make up an excuse…

You all act like this is gonna be easy. I'd recalibrate that there are many variables that can swing big games like this.
If Joey is posting a ton you know he is worried about the game. If he knows it is going to be a blowout you don't see anything until after the game.
