Amazing how fast things can change: Lincoln Prep and Center, just 2-3 years ago, were THE feel good stories in KC HSFB now both are really, really struggling.
They need to listen to me and form a complete KC conference with both of them in it instead of how they schedule today. I agree but prior coaches proved it can be done and the talent is definitely there.
This is circa the time of year he and his know-it-all garbage tend to appear here.
When the district left them alone they did well. It's like the school district wants their sports to suck.
App still open and at 8k a year I don't know how they expect to fill it.

Meh...some small school coach somewhere would get a $20K raise between teaching and coaching to take a stab at it. The retirement thingy could be a deal-breaker though. Not that I'd expect anyone in KCPS to work very hard, but they could easily target some folks at or near retirement age for that job. It was, maybe not still is, one of the best in the city district.
I'd think there are some other stipends that would have to go along with.....
Sure you can teach if you want but that shit sucks. I mean no disrespect to those that teach and coach however there are some people in this world who would make better coaches but won't take the pay cut and have no desire to be a teacher.
There are very few here in MO that don't teach and coach. Almost a requisite. Way different down in Tejas
