Parkview bad? Lighthouse good?

It is a little bit of both. Lighthouse gets kids from all over SWMO, some in the past have drove 2 hours one way for practice. You never know what type athletes they will get (had a OK State recruit that transferred to MO State a few years ago). I think Parkview was expected to be young and little green.

Too many football programs who love to complain about kids specializing and playing one sport, who are more than willing to encourage/tolerate or even base their entire philosophy around specialization in their own house.

If you’re getting 66 hung on you consistently, or you’re getting tuned up by Lighthouse Cheisitan then you don’t have 22 guys who can actually play the game — and you probably shouldn’t be specializing on offense/defense.

You are correct. And that’s not a knock on lighthouse. I’ve seen them play before. They had some good athletes on the field for any team. I just think that Parkview, probably had a “tuneup“Game in mind and it backfired LOL
