Anyone watch? 7-6? I was expecting a fairly high scoring output. Thoughts?
If the game went the way I expect it did, LC probably owned the time of possession by a landslideLafayette County
I thought Higg would win circa 21-0 honestly. Richmond and cold weather didn't seem the right mix but what an effort! That is a major rivalry. If the game went the way I expect it did, LC probably owned the time of possession by a landslide
Richmond definitely showed, the year after losing the all everything all purpose QB, they are a program to be reckoned with! Good luck to Higginsville something tells me the Bowling Green game won't be 7-6. Just a hunch.............Battle of the lines. 0-0 at half. Neither side could get things moving. Richmond finally put together a long 3rd quarter drive for a score and missed 2pt conversion. LC put their first sustained drive together in the 4th scoring with 8:50 left. Defense held next possession and Huskers then ran out the clock.
We shall see. I learned long ago don't carry these playoff games over week to week................just saying. After seeing what Bowling Green did to an ok Hallsville school, I have to say I am sold on Bowling Green and every eyes in the state in 2 weeks will be on Class 2 for what should be one hell of a game.
The "Bowling" Green ball hasn't stopped rolling yet.We shall see. I learned long ago don't carry these playoff games over week to week................just saying.
Just saying don't get overconfident. Higginsville has lots of SR leadership and playoff experience. The "Bowling" Green ball hasn't stopped rolling yet.
Oh I'm sure they will show up ready to play. Just looking at how a wounded Macon team hung with Richmond last week and how Bowling Green has handled common opponents in the CCC makes me think Bowling Green is a prohibitive favorite. Still have to play the game of course. I assume it is in Higginsville since both were #1s and it's a bottom half year. That should help.Just saying don't get overconfident. BG owes Higg, too. Huskers won in this same round 52-32 last year.Oh I'm sure they will show up ready to play. Let’s worry about next week first. After seeing what Bowling Green did to an ok Hallsville school, I have to say I am sold on Bowling Green and every eyes in the state in 2 weeks will be on Class 2 for what should be one hell of a game.
It will be a big game. Fun matchup last year. No biases here. But after watching last years matchup between these two? I expect another fun game. I’ll have to buy this one and check it out next week.BG owes Higg, too. Huskers won in this same round 52-32 last year.
