Lathrop 28, Lamar 21; FINAL

Lamars first kickoff was received on the sideline, and bounced off the kids chest OB. Flag was thrown for kicking out of bounds.

I couldn't see his feet to see if maybe he was OB when he made contact, but it was obvious it hit him, but the refs didn't hesitate in throwing he flag. Anyone have a better vantage point or know why that was a flag?

Happened close to where I'm standing. Seemed to be a blown call as far as I could tell.

Lamar's OL is huge, but I'm sure it's the slowest OL I've ever seen...Not sure why they're trying to pull/run wide - IMO they're going to have to pound it behind the big fellas to be successful. Lathrop's rb is the best player on the field.

You need to have a meeting with Coach Bailey and teach him what’s so blatantly obvious to your superior gridiron intellect.

LOL, he's done a great job down there - I'm just calling it as I see it. You tell me where they're moving the chains (it's between the tackles) and where they're getting shut down (when they run wide.)

There's a whole lot of ballgame left.

Afraid Lathrop may double up here since they get the ball after half. I won't say a three score lead is insurmountable, but definitely not favorable

He's going to have to make some serious HT adjustments. They w
Lathrop looks very good. They have the speed and more energy.
Why isn’t Lamar using their size and running more up the middle? Nothing on the edge is working?

That was my comment & it was suggested that I should have a discussion with their HOF coach. Looks like they want to run wide - the qb even wants to roll out and those big boys just don't have the quickness for that today (perhaps it's worked all year - but it won't fly against a good team.)

First drive looked dominant. After that the O-line has been pretty lethargic. Lathrop definitely has speed and is the aggressor so far on contact. Kind of remind me of a faster, more physical Ava

I will comment that Lathrop's facilities are outstanding. Good visitor seating, easy parking. Very nice place.

However, in future playoff games some temporary portapotties may be beneficial. Currently probably 200 deep waiting on the men's room lol

You can get right in right now

21-14, Lathrop's top rb limped off on their last series. They'd better find a way to get points.

I guess I would rather lose here rather than get the turbo from BO next week. This game pretty much summed up the season, missed opportunities and no fire. Unfortunately I am not sure next season looks much better for us.
