This will be one to watch. Seen Pius a few times and their defense is stingy. Lamar defense has been just as good the last six games. Most pts. Allowed by Pius, Chillicothe 27. Lamar, McDonald County 42. Tough pick. Can’t figure that McDonald County game out.

Best Mac Cty team in years but yeah Lamar has come a long way from early in the season.

How are they a feel good story? They got the green light to recruit better athletes. Got rid of a coach that had been there forever through good and bad times. I wouldn't say that is feel good.
Jealous, Freeze? :)

Byers did a great job but it was time for a change. Happens.

Will say looking at last year and this year programs when they played Maryville there was some Jr and Sr on this years that wasn't on there last year. But maybe its kids already at school just didn't go out last year.

I doubt it’s that. But I will say this should be a great game regardless. I don’t think either team is the clear favorite. It’s going to come down to coaching and the highly debatable concept of momentum.

you guys sound like the Webbies on the rare occasion that they get beat in the regular season

Facts of the matter are? We haven’t played like that since that game. Have we played better teams since then? Yup. Have we had a game where we struggled much at all since then? No. What does that suggest? Different mindset, play, and coaching. Yikes bub. I’m trying to say this hang up on the game that happened at the start of the season isn’t a good metic to judge the team for the whole season. I remember weeks ago when you thought Butler would beat Lamar by 21+. Thoughts like that are why I said that.

Heck no not jealous. I hate screw jobs. It happens. I always say if you screw someone it will come back on you. Some say karma, I'm more of yin and yang. Teaching Hinduism now.

I know what you’re saying, and I’m not saying you’re wrong, but I had to make that comparison lol.

Pius QB, Moss is a junior and handles himself pretty well. Throws well and knows when to tuck it and go. Question is can their defense slow down Lamar’s offense. If they can, then I favor Pius. Of course, it hasn’t been done all year long.

Here ya go.
That's one helluva forehead !!! :eek::eek::eek:

Pius QB is quick and accurate plus he's got receivers that can catch pretty good. Especially the 6'4" receiver. I don't think Pius O-line will give their QB much time to throw against Lamar's defense. Lamar has played a couple QBs of this quality and once they hit him over and over he stopped throwing accurately. Pius defense is good but I don't think they will stop Lamar with all of their running backs. I don't see a shut out by either team. If both teams play their games I think Lamar will win by 3 TDs.

Lamar will play a real soft man without anybody over the top most of the game so I think Pius will hit on some big plays but I don't think they'll be able to sustain drives. I've seen too many Lamar - Liberty games where my eyes get big watching Lamar come out in cover 0. Pius will hit a few verts, but that's not enough. You've got stay ahead of the chains with them and have consistency on offense and I just don't think Pius is going to be able to do that.

Lamar has lost two Class 2 games in the last 10 years (Lathrop and Ava), both were heavy run teams. Lamar has had success keeping passing teams in check. Lamar wins 28-17.

Lamar's speed and size in the secondary is tough for anyone. Speed at the DE spot and Wooldridge is a monster inside. If Pius' QB doesn't have much mobility I bet it will be a long day for them. I am thinking 35-14 or so.

Nope.
Bosko claims to have abolished all of my “little chats”, but I’m still gonna lay low for a bit to make sure.
Got better odds Bosko will lose weight...................
Okay you bozos and clowns! Raw, if I said your previous "chat" threats were null and void upon you being voted in, I MEANT IT!!! Now if you're refusing to join me for a socially distant beer at the Ampipe Pool Hall, you might just be in line for a new little "chat"!!!

As for you tophat, I HAVE BEEN LOSING WEIGHT!!!

If you're ever up in Minnesota, First round at the Touchdown Club is on me.[/QUOTE]

Oh come on! You're an Honorary Doc Guy! You're telling me that you don't wanna hang out with the Mox at the Landing Strip? Grab a beer with Bosko at the Ampipe Pool Hall? Or host a kegger with Drunk Joe at where ever he's laying his head down that night!?
