I did not say I would defend our coach if he said the same thing. I don't know what he said. I just said I would defend our coach and I would. As I said, by mentioning him by name and making critical statements about him and his character, that seems awfully public. Let's just keep that stuff off the boards. We're better than that.

And once again I reiterate that I merely stated that his character after the game was a disappointment. I was then requested to give more clarity and withheld any derogatory and demeaning facts (although I had them). My character was then put into question, as to which the whole issue arose. The corresponding remarks were in response to my debater stating that the coach should not be held to a higher standard, to which I call BS. Part of our problems today are due to this same sentiment and we need to remind ourselves that it is a kids sport, was never about the parents or the coaches, or the schools. Do not expect me to sit and be attacked for stating a very grey statement of character, without equally pointing out what is decidedly the more ethical viewpoint.

My bad once more. I forget that you have to use exact statements and not generalities with those who don't want to be held accountable for their statements. You are correct and did not state that exactly, however you offered plenty of reasons why I shouldn't make a statement about his lack of character. You do realize that I merely stated and I quote "however I have decided to simply state that I feel sorry for Liberty having to deal with Acklin as a coach and his behavior after the game was a disappointment". Your entire tirade about how I'm on a soapbox is based on this. I think you must like the coach a little more than might be comfortable. You know what I mean!
