I used to be a guy who didn't watch the NBA. Fell for the idea that they didn't play defense. But once I got into and learned more about the rules I realized that most things favor the offense. Also these guys just don't need the space everyone else needs to score. Great offense always beats great defense. You can't stop a guy who pulls up from 25ft and knocks it down when you have a hand in his face!!!

I didn't say they can't play, I just don't watch it. Pro golfers are very good as are pro soccer players, but I don't watch them either. There is only so many hours in a day, night or week. I choose not to spend mine on those things. I don't watch near as much college ball as I used to. I spend a LOT of time watching HS boys and girls games in person so I guess I don't want to watch basketball that much more when I get home.

3Rfan fair enough, I shouldn't have jumped to that conclusion. But with no high school games going on in April and May its the best time to watch the NBA! Give it a try sometime maybe you will be surprised.

I have grandsons 4 and 7 that are playing some b
'big time baseball', there is a HS softball league going on at 3 Rivers 3 or 4 nights a week and the Cardinals are on TV almost every night. I just ain't gonna add NBA to all that. I haven't seen Tyler Hansbrough's teams play more than 3 or 4 times in his NBA career.

I find the NBA to be more creative basketball than college right now. They call the games better and let the offense flow.

They miss calls and play favorites but they would never let them play as rough as the big ten does
