This should be a good game, the conference is wide open and this game could be a big one in deciding the eventual champ. On paper Kickapoo has had more impressive wins or at least by margin. The chiefs handled parkview a 35-3 loss the first week which after seeing the Vikings first hand last Friday against Joplin that margin stands out the Vikings are big and strong up front with a fast strong (212 pounds) back ,nice win by Kickapoo. Although always a homer Ill take my eagle even though they lost their def. leader in joe Crawford. 34-31

Hey chaotic Is Kickapoo running more Of a veer style running attack from Thompson's past or more of a passing attack? I'm excited to see Kickapoo they must be playing real good ball right now! I could be wrong but I don't think Joplin's played up to their potential yet .
Does anybody out there know what offense Kickapoo is running. Just curious, I don't think Thompson still runs the veer just not sure.

Joplin- 2-0 85 points scored, 76 points allowed
Won week 1 against Glendale 56-48
Won week 2 against Parkview 29-28
Now Kickapoo has beat two 0-2 teams. They did beat those teams handedly, which good teams should do. Joplin has beaten a 1-1 team and an 0-2 team, both of those games were close. The only common opponent is Parkview. While Kickapoo ran away with it, Joplin only won by one point. I say Kickapoo wins this game by 2 scores. I would say West Plains and Kickapoo are headed for a conference title showdown with Camdenton having an outside shot at winning as well.

I agree on paper this looks like a Kickapoo win. Thompson is a good coach and seems to be doing another great job, the chiefs have a big strong jr. QB that's smart running the off. I'm hoping reality and how it looks on paper are not the same. Joplin handed Parkview their last score with two big penalties one of those a terrible call !! (From an official that played for Joplin ) lol Joplin's defense is going to have to step up to win this game I guess we'll find out in a few hours!
From what I've seen, I don't believe they're running the vere out of the same set, but I believe it may be a variation of it. They're an extremely run heavy team thus far. They haven't really had to show their cards much to win so it'll be interesting tonight to see exactly how they're getting it done. They're hardly throwing the ball. That much I can tell you.

LOL I know that's blasphemy! Let's just say Joplin needs to start playing better defense but to be honest hardly any teams today play very well on the defense of side!! I really think this will be a pretty good ball game maybe I'll eat those words but that's my gut feeling
I think Joplin is going to have a pretty solid season but I think Kickapoo is going to win the OC this year.
You can bet I'm counting the days until West Plains travels up to the Poo. It was a barn burner last year @ WP. Great game.
