Kearney moves game to Thursday

Due to Friday evening's weather forecast, the Varsity football game scheduled for Friday (9/9/16) has been moved to Thursday (9/8/16). Gates will open at 5pm and game will begin at 6pm.

I would agree if Kearney were 100+ miles "south".

80% chance of rain come game time Friday night.

After the last rain bowl i don't blame anyone for not wanting to go through that again.

They only care about the lightening. Already two games delayed. One finished at 1am, and another on Saturday morning. They aren't taking any more chances.

Gotta admit not sure about this one..................stationary/slow moving but strong cold front bumping into a very juicy and hot airmass tomorrow and Friday. Unlike two weeks ago Saturday afternoon promises to be exceptional so maybe that is when everyone should reschedule?

Bite my tongue it appears both rescheduled games will go off without a hitch as the system translated a bit south..................now fingers crossed for no big storms tomorrow night.
