Too many players on grandview or too many on Kearney ???Too many quarantined to field a team; sounds like DeSoto won't happen next week either.

But what about the hot moms?Kearney (De Soto was on the schedule for next week.)
I confess that was my first thought. But what about the hot moms?
WHOA HO!!! Bosko likey!!But what about the hot moms?
I'm sure their big Homecoming parties a week or so ago had nothing to do with this.Kearney (De Soto was on the schedule for next week.)
Funny thing about K-TOWN is that the same parents that will provide the party for little jonnies and cover for little jonnies will bitch and say Gray's has lack of institutional control. They will grip about wearing masks, then blame the district when games are cancelled....funny and fickle group up there
Wait. Are you saying that Kearneys football problems are losing and struggling numbers? And NOT a bunch of hot moms? These cases seem a little late for homecoming related, but if that fits your narrative, then have at it, bitch. I can assure you that there weren't any more homecoming activities in kearney than anywhere else in the Northland. It might surprise you, bitch, to know that Kearney isn't the first team to cancel a game due to covid - a week ago, Kearney's opponent cancelled. I haven't really seen/heard anyone blame Gray for covid....struggling with #s and losing is a different matter. Whiney bitches - wherever you are.

Having a bunch of hot moms should never be a problem! One of these days, I'm gonna go hunting for the thread where the "hot Kearney moms" originated from. When has having a bunch of hot moms ever been a problem? Unfortunately graduation has taken the one in question out of the picture...pregames just aren't the same this year.

That's the sad irony in this covid journey... The people complaining the most about masks/cancellations are the ones most responsible for its continued prevalence.
Or one might say they have weighed the costs and decided the price of turning life upside down for their children is greater than the risk of death by Covid. And with that, they might also say these cancellations and quarantines are senseless; that they are violations of basic human rights, and that a society full of sheep can be lead into very dangerous pastures. We have way too many sheep who like to bitch about being sheep and whine about those who aren’t sheep. The thing about sheep, is that rugged individualists have built quite a comfortable world for you; one that allows you to be a bitch about a whole lot of stuff, not the least of which is a virus that makes you sneeze.Funny thing about K-TOWN is that the same parents that will provide the party for little jonnies and cover for little jonnies will bitch and say Gray's has lack of institutional control. cool story. The deal is if someone tests positive for covid then quarantine must happen. It’s high school football. I don’t give a sht what rules youfollow, but don’t be mad if your child can’t play as a result.Or one might say they have weighed the costs and decided the price of turning life upside down for their children is greater than the risk of death by Covid. The sick kid needs to quarantine in case of any infectious disease. Not the healthy ones. It’s stupid, and it’s symbolic of the group think and hyperbolic fear of the sheep that have created problems way bigger than the virus. Suicide, depression, bankruptcy, undiagnosed illnesses, drug overdoses, child abuse, social unrest, etc. often the sheep doesn’t know what he’s running from; he’ll run off a cliff if the others are too. That’s what’s happening now. The HS FB quarantines are symbolic of that.cool story. The deal is if someone tests positive for covid then quarantine must happen. It’s high school football. I will await similar upset posts on having to wear a seatbelt to go to dinner where they made you wear pants.
Stop being a goof.
The infection rate is close to 3, so extrapolate that out to ten people and it’s roughly 59k. It makes sense to quarantine teams that are in close proximity for long periods of time. All that other shit has zero to do with high school footballThe sick kid needs to quarantine in case of any infectious disease. Not the healthy ones. Hmmmm. I don't recall you posting it. I only say that because as soon as I saw the post, I quoted it so if it got deleted, we would have record of it. And I didn't recognize the name of the poster. It was my phrase...i claim it.
I’d like to see the data on prophylactic quarantines: how many healthy quarantined student-athletes have subsequently developed symptoms from exposure to the source of the quarantine? I’d be willing to bet if that number were high it would be published everywhere...but it’s not, because it’s not. Quarantines feed the sheep. Never before in human history have we quarantined the healthy. Never before in human history have we had this many sheep. The infection rate is close to 3, so extrapolate that out to ten people and it’s roughly 59k. Here is all the info on infection with NCAA teams. Unfortunately no one info on high school football I could findI’d like to see the data on prophylactic quarantines: how many healthy quarantined student-athletes have subsequently developed symptoms from exposure to the source of the quarantine? Cool, go use google man. Let me know what you find outI would like data on what percentage of
Quarantined healthy people actually contracted the virus from the athlete who caught the virus. And of those, how many were infected on the field of play.
If the number were significant, we would already know.Cool, go use google man. Let me know what you find out
The infection rate is 3. The lack of testing in significant numbers is why we don’t know true numbers. My whole point is the rules are what they are to play football this year, it sucks, but they are the rules. Teams that have players that don’t take it as serious will leave theselves open to quarantine rules. I don’t give a sht about all the other bs, right now, they governing bodies are saying this is what is should be. Feel free to spend some real time researching it.If the number were significant, we would already know.
Couldn't tell you, If their Freshman class continues to grow and keeps coming out, and someone can coach them, they'll be pretty good. We shall see.So how long has it been since mighty Kearney only won 3-4 games in a season??
"Rugged individualists"??? Did you get that out of a 1950's history textbook?Or one might say they have weighed the costs and decided the price of turning life upside down for their children is greater than the risk of death by Covid. WHOAAAAAA HOOOOOO!!! Talk about Bosko likey!!!
Nearly 327,500,000 people in America did not die yesterday due to lack of seat belt use.The rules are what they are...you are correct. When should rules not be what they are? That is a bigger question.
327,500,000 people in America don’t have Covid.
20 years. So how long has it been since mighty Kearney only won 3-4 games in a season??
Have had 2 .500 seasons (2005 and last year) since 2000. This one is becoming a "tax write off". I guess this season could get weirder just not sure how.............20 years.
The political end of this belongs on "that" board. ONLY thing this arch-conservative will say is the COVID HYSTERIA needs to end.The rules are what they are...you are correct. When should rules not be what they are? That is a bigger question.

Move over Jessie! There's a new foxy mama in town!
In 2000 Kearney was 3-7 under Mark Thomas. Two years later they were State Champs.I figured it was something like that. It happens sometimes. We can’t all be Webb City.
Kearney will rise again. I just hope they keep Grey so all the naysayers will see it’s the Jimmys and the Joes.In 2000 Kearney was 3-7 under Mark Thomas. Two years later they were State Champs.
