Will week 8 (Grandview) be more of a test than perhaps it looked back at the beginning of the season?
Yes these long stretches being a heavy favorite are an invitation to loss of concentration/injuries. Not nearly saying those Bulldogs will come to KTown and win but could push them and Smithville.
It takes all facets as everyone knows to be this good BUT the turnaround still shocks me. #1 factor, as addressed many times, is COACHING. Got the right kids on the school bus and in the right seats plus very, very innovative unpredictable offensive play calling. Many very talented kids. I actually contend they are one year away from REALLY excelling..............
6 starters back on Offense and Defense. As well as most of the second string.
True. 2 wides, QB, top two RBs and the Center. On defense, it would be 2/3 linebackers, 2 linemen, and 2 of the d-backs. But bring in two dbacks that are as good as or close to the starters.
A lot of production is coming back for sure. And dynamic playmakers.
Chrisman just gave up 50 to Belton who barely beat Tonka. Unless there are injuries healing at Chrisman I assume Tonka's best chance is this weak.
Over the course of 4 quarters agree just kinda hoping GView can push them in the first half. There is literally NO middle class to KTown's 2022 slate. Ditto Smithville I "think" but am charting Pittsburg to see if there is a smidge of a shot at them pushing the Warriors in Week 8.
I agree highly likely unless Center can hold up on the lines for four quarters. Don't, at this mid-season point, see anyone else in that district pushing the Jackets.
Yeah the results so far definitely indicate that. Curious why Ambroson et al chose that long road trip in Week 8.
