OK lets get this going:

GOLD :

1) Liberty
2) Liberty North
3) Lee's Summit North
4) Raymore-Peculiar
5) Blue Springs
6) Lee's Summit West
7) Park Hill
8) Blue Springs South

THE league of death! Could put those top four (maybe five) in a jar and draw lots and have a better chance figuring out the order of finish!

RED:

1) North Kansas City
2) Park Hill South
3) Staley
4) Lee's Summit
5) Oak Park
6) St. Joseph Central

Top two heads and shoulders above the rest BUT Staley always is deep and talented this year with a brand new HC/system. LS is "maybe" a darkhorse.

WHITE:

1) Belton
2) Fort Osage
3) Raytown
4) Grain Valley
5) Truman
6) William Chrisman

Again take the top three (maybe four) and draw lots. Fort should be vastly improved while GV should "return to Earth" a bit this season.

BLUE:

1) Smithville
2) Platte County
3) Winnetonka
4) Kearney
5) Grandview
6) Raytown South
7) Ruskin

Smithville is HEAVIEST favorite of any of these conferences but look for PC to improve as the season rolls on and be a C5 area factor again. Tonka and Kearney are dead even just like last year (both likely a bit improved overall).

There ya go, KC folks............

I guess I am wondering about your crystal ball for Platte County? As they lost virtually their entire team.

Platte Co: 2020 19 2020 All Conf Returning: 7 (Big Losses - QB Ruhnke, RB Caden Davis, WR Dayton Mitchell, OL Trey Butcher, DL Keaton Smith, DL Alex Sterns, DB Luke Filger, LB Blane Kuehn)

I said they are even. Benny is a great HC, bro.

They always reload. Who knows where the QB will come from but they will have a nice D to build from.

They don't always reload...they have past couple seasons with stellar QBs. Not seeing that this year. The same Bill Utz that went 8-4 in 2015 and 2016. Maybe 10-3 this year...

Liberty will be head and shoulders above the others in that Division. Based on talent coming back.

Lee's Summit North? Liberty North is extremely deep and will be THE team everyone will be talking about one year from now. Anything the Eagles do in 2021 is a bonus.

Can Liberty North get by Bentonville, AR in week 1? Then right to Liberty....then the defending state champs in Week 3?

Top: What do you know or what do you hear about Rockhurst? Is Kelly going to have them on the move in his second year or are they stuck in neutral?

If Liberty North is supposed to be a contender in C6 in MO wouldn't you expect them to be neck and neck with Bentonville?

Lost top 5/7 offensive threats (QB, Top Rusher, Top 3 Receivers, 7 late season defensive starters. What are they coming with?
have you seen them at all this summer?
if so let us know your thoughts
always love the well they lost this they return this folks lol
i mean you act like they are winning the state lol

Greg wants to get a handle on his team and what better way to get to some big time high level out of state comp
sad lots of other mo teams never travel

Your bravery is commendable. Because, of course, you have no idea. There might be a team out there that was one or two plays away from having miraculous seasons. Then you would call it a great coaching job, and there might be teams out there that got lucky or played the right teams at the right times, and you praise their great turnarounds. You might see a losing record of a team who played a hard schedule and barely missed and you might consider them bottom feeders, but their opponents know they had a well coached good football team. You are able to see one game a week and make assessments of every team in the suburban conferences. And by golly, sometimes your right.

So a team returns 8 of 11 starters on Offense and Defense, and has three of them that are all state... AND no one has played any games yet...then you should love the "well they lost this they return this folks" because chances are likely they will be a hell of a lot better than the teams returning 3 or 4 starters on O and D. Duhhh!

Yup. Went to 4 practices. Even the supposed starting QB quit at the beginning of July
I see 6-4/5-5 against their comp this year
Have you seen them ?????

I would have thought everyone in these message boards would know this lol

I agree with most as well. Hard to believe Blue Springs has fallen off so fast.
I'm not sure they will ever get back to where they were before 2015. South has had major struggles as well. Seems like there has been a major demographic shift out here in EJC. I think a lot of what Blue Springs had in middle class folks has moved south into what is the Lee's Summit School district or east to Grain Valley. I didn't see much coming up in middle school football the last few years either. I almost wonder now if they regret not building that third high school as many others have caught them and they are now stuck in class 6.

Anyone heard anything on Raytown or Belton this year?

Belton lost 4 assistant coaches including both coordinators. Plays an easy non conference schedule and benefitted from a down year from a few conference schools last year. Ray town looks to be physical and athletic, should be better. Fort O should be back to expectations.

1. Fort O
2. Ray town
3. Belton
4. Grain Valley
5. WC
6. Truman

To whom is this directed? Friendly advice it helps when you respond to the one your message is directed to.

Gonna have a lot of battle tested teams in Class 6 in this area no doubt. Why I often say the regular season is just a dress rehearsal for the games that REALLY count.

From what I hear I do not think losing both coordinators will hurt Belton.

I like the articles on 810varsity.com website previewing the teams. All the newspapers are dead with the exception of Bill Althaus at The Examiner.
Just today I see that Kearney has a 6'10 285lb tackle. Never seen a football player that tall before.
Looking forward to the Fort vs. Kearney game week 1. Both teams look to be much improved.

Chad does an OUTSTANDING job.

That tackle is signed with Tulane already.

Kearney...i would vegas line at:

CANCELLED Kearney over Fort
-21 Kearney over Platte County
-13 Smithville over Kearney
-21 Kearney over Tonka
-35 Kearney over Raytown South
-14 Kearney over Grain Valley
-21 Kearney over Grandview.

The addition of a 4.4 receiver...and having 5 all-state track athletes on the field at any given time with 12 returning All Conf players...boosts Kearney to #2 rank in their conf. PC is unknown but severely down in personnel.
