Total enrollment of those 10 schools was just under 17,000. Maunual was by far the smallest and Van Horn the biggest.
Note in KC there was also a Catholic League with Hogan, Lillis, St. Pius, St. Mary's, St. Joseph Shawnee and Pem-Day.

Wow the memories here, too! My God I am getting old................
 
Going way back to the early to mid 80s I remember Southwest having some really outstanding teams. Westport had good ones in the late 80s as well.
Check the all-state teams from the entire decade of the 70's and there were IL kids every year. In the largest classification in MO at the time.
