The Tipton Cardinals rolled to a perfect 4-0 league record in their inaugural season in the Kaysinger Conference outscoring their foes 168-20 in 2010. In year two of the league the Tipton Cardinals are still the overwhelming league favorite, but could the gap be closing?

Let's take a quick look around the Kaysinger Conference.

MOsports.com Predicted Standings

1) Tipton-- A season ago the Cardinals rolled through the league by an average score of 42-5. The Cardinals return five offensive starters, four on defense as they prepare for the 2011 campaign. While head coach Tony Braby feels the Cardinals need to work on their passing game, "The offensive Line could be our best that we've had for awhile", commented Braby.

"The defense?will be tough again", added Braby. "There is a lot of good young players that need to step it up after only 1 loss in the J.V. Season." Sophomore quarterback Riley Brant returns along with running back Aaron Ray to key the Cardinal offense.

Seniors Jon Jarvis(6-1 250) OG/DT and Stephen Dorsey(5-11 210) OT/LB/DT return as leaders for the Cardinals on and off the field.

2) Cole Camp-- Cole Camp finished 7-3, 3-1 in league play in 2010. WR Nyklis Ferris, senior OL Brett Thomas, and senior Colin Kabler all return after earning Kaysinger all-conference honors.

3) Windsor-- The Greyhounds made the playoffs for the first time since 1989 last year. They return five starters on both offense and defense and will have to replace several seniors who led the team last year. Graduated are Ryan Hamilton QB/S, Dillon Johnson RB/CB, Chase Drennon RB/OLB, Markus Burns OG/ILB, Ronald Smith OG/DE, and Jason Larkins OT/OLB. Windsor's top returner is ALex Baughman who will make the switch from halfback to quarterback.

The Gryehounds return two starters on each side of the line. Anstine, Brockman, Baughman, Yates and Beeman return as key components to the defense.

4) Lincoln-- Danny Morrison returns for year two leading the Cardinals after a difficult 0-10 season. Senior running back Austin Ridgeway and senior linebacker Garrett Dulaban return for the Cardinals.

5) Sacred Heart-- 2-7 a season ago, Ben Lyles has been hired to lead the Gremlins this season. A trio of all-conference seniors return for the Gremlins: DL Colin Kabler, DL Michael Prenger, LB Zach Dover.
