Judge refuses to hold Trump in contempt

How does she get to stay on the bench when everybody in this country knows he has defied the DOJ's request for ALL TOP Secret documents he took home, and other places? She did this even after more were found by his lawyers in a storage area somewhere. They can't find ANYONE to stand up and say that ALL the documents have been recovered!

Problem is that the DOJ can not tell the judge what, if any classified documents that Trump had possession of that he may have not turned over. He says he has turned everything over and it's up to them to prove otherwise. They had a search warrant and went through his wife's panties I would think that would be the end of it

His lawyers came up with more classified docs in a some storage area so we know he has lied every time he said they had all been returned. Why would anybody think he doesn't have more, the National Archive folks say there is some out there somewhere. He still thinks they belong to him.

You didn't tell me why a judge can turn a blind eye to a VERY obvious case of contempt and keep her job. Whatever happens from now on Trump did NOT comply.

If you do not do give them what they asked for, multiple times, how is it anything but contempt?NO ONE has said he don't have the stuff, he just says it's his to keep and do with as he wants. If this was Joe Blow off the street he would be held in contempt! Once again Donnie gets a pass.

Why would it make any difference what a Lawyer says in court when their client refused to do what the subpoena said they had to do? I realize you're ok with Trump NEVER being charged with ANYTHING but your just flat out WRONG. Will you at least admit if one of us here on Mosports refused to turn over something that was legally subpoenaed that we would be charged for it?

It would matter what a Lawyer said because of the LAW. I'm sure there are legal rules and guidelines that apply to a subpoena and how it is executed and such or even if the Subpoena had legal grounds to stand on, if it did not then the contempt charge is moot.

I'm fine with Trump being charged for Tax fraud or contempt.... he should pay the fines and move on. I'm fine with his 4,000k fine for contempt that judge ruled against him so he must pay and comply. Why do you think I'm not fine with that? As I'm fine with Trumps corporation being found guilty of tax fraud and being fined 1.6 million dollars.

I have not said in one of my post he was unjustly charged or sentenced in those accounts. I did say the tax fraud incidents are trivial and not outside the norm for multi billion dollar corporations playing the margins, but they got caught so they must pay. I have no issue with that at all and support the system doing it's job.

It's you that have a huge issue with Trump not being charged with contempt!!! This seems to be upsetting to you on a personal level.

And no I won't say it would be a slam dunk 100% deal if some of us on Mosports got charged with contempt that we would be found guilty of said contempt. Again that would depend on the situation, the Lawyer and the Judges interpretation of the situation and law.
