As noted in a previous post, Kemper Military was the last JUCO in Missouri to play before shutting the program down in 1999 and before closing its doors in 2002. They had several future NFL players there during the 90s.
Wentworth Military shut its FB program down in 1974. It restarted again in the early 90s for a two-year run. The school closed in 2017 and was bought last month by Jubilee World, a Christian music and performing arts organization. They plan on 600 students there this fall. Good luck to them and to the city of Lexington.
Moberly and Hannibal-LaGrange both played in a Missouri JUCO conference as did Principia before it became a 4-year college. Other schools that were members that closed due to the depression (Is COVID the new depression for small private schools?) include Kidder Institute in Kidder (near Hamilton) and Palmer College in Albany. The Chillicothe Business College Ducks and St. Joe JUCO also, I think were involved.
Some others that played and most are long gone include Trenton (North Central), Pike College in Bowling Green, Buchanan in Troy, Central Wesleyan in Warrenton and Grand River in Gallatin.
Joplin JUCO started in the late 30s, and played many Kansas schools. Besides Wentworth, barely, I can find no others south of the Missouri River that had football for any time at all.
Now you can all release your bated breath on waiting for at least a partial answer.
