I was there and no, refs did nothing to affect the game against Joplin. In fact, later in the game when if they were going to do that, kept calling penalties against FZW and not Joplin. Joplin fans whined all day but as an unbiased fan, it was called pretty evenly.

Nothing new here. Nearly all fanatics see the game calls with their heart instead of their eyes. I go to cardinal games too. I need to record their fans and post it on here for you to listen to. Not that they are bad, just typical.

Yes lol there has never been a properly called game in the history of high school athletics. Also I’ve noticed that every play by play guy on every single TV broadcast hates my favorite team.

Joplin won state baseball championship in ‘01. Josh Tupper threw a no hitter. Were in state championship 2 other times during that time. Lost to Desmet in 2000. Bob Keppels pitched for them. Got drafted in the 1st round the very next day. It was funny. Desmet only had the one coach but had a priest with the long robe on the bench in case something happened to that coach or he got tossed.
