Webb defense looked pretty good all night long, even with the 2nd and 3rd stringers come in but besides that, pretty basic, like every year.

Willard looked good and won the jamboree over at Parkview with Bolivar and Cassville. Scored 5 or 6 TDs on offense, gave up nothing on defense

That long pass was on the 3's in the defensive backfield. The safety miss read his assignment. Gibson would of been all over that pass and walked away w/ it in his hands. Offensive line was missing two starters last night, but will be ready for CJ next Friday. They are mad about the loss last year, and mad about what they are hearing about the CJ/WC game in the rain.

Well my first post was like some of the center to quarterback exchanges Friday night. Not sure what to make of the jam. but ill throw my 2 cents in. Nixa looked like they have not jelled yet, could be an average year. Seneca was over matched, understandable. Hope they have a good season but it was hard to tell much at all. Joplin Def played well giving up one TD that I remember with a softened (2's) def. The Joplin off. has an explosive tailback who will be fun to watch. The qb is still getting his grip after being a linebacker the last few years. over I think they can win 7 again but...... who knows. Webb looked like a team that will improve a lot through out the season. not near the athletes as last year but still very athletic. John will get em ready for a state run no doubt but def will carry them even more than previous years.
