No idea just sounded like it was a coaching decision before the game but it wasn’t specified. Didn’t mention anything about injuries. Curious if anyone knew.
According to the HC in the pregame interview Spiva got hurt in the first half of the Willard game.
That’s too bad, neosho was overdue for a good season. Still a good season for them no matter what but that won’t help their prospects.
It will be difficult for Neosho to win a district semifinal against probably Grain Valley now
Agreed, I will say the HC Said they are going to evaluate Spiva week to week. Didn't sound optimistic that he will return.

is there a younger Spiva who also played/plays QB sophmore maybe? I thought I remember one in youth my old memory serves me correct I thought he was pretty good back then.

Neosho started a sophomore QB but I didn't catch his name. I thought he played pretty well. I heard he did really well at the Willard game after Spiva was injured.
