All four teams accomplished their goals tonight, lots of players played, the coaches played under game conditions while working on their team offenses and defenses. It was also entertaining for the parents and fans like me.

Webster defeated Waynesville, Sikeston and Cardinal Ritter in close games.

Sikeston defeated Cardinal Ritter--lost to Webster and Waynesville in close games.

The coaches main goal was to play a lot of players, work game situations with little concern on who won the games. If these games were regular schedule games, played in the future, I could not lock in a winner in any of the games however I do not believe any of these four teams will be a state champion in March, 2016.

Now on to the next game tomorrow evening @ CBC. St. Louis University High will be an underdog against powerful CBC and playing without two big guns who are out with Mono. Yes indeed, Coach Ewin Claggett and Coach Justin Tatum are two of the top high school coaches in Missouri will do battle on Friday evening @ CBC.

Good seeing and meeting you last night.. Metro-dude

Like wise saintlouis, I was also able to visit with Swishmeyer, Fred Thatch Sr and others during this event. I came to Webster to see Courtney Ramey 6'3" Soph. and Fred Thatch 6' 2" soph. from Sikeston and they did not disappoint. Courtney Ramey 6'3" and long appears to have a big upside with good guard skills. Fred Thatch is one of those athletes who would excel in most sports but he has chosen basketball and appears to be a very skilled as well. I can only imagine Fred playing football or even boxing. As a former basketball coach, they don't get much better then these two outstanding sophomores who appear to have a big upside.

Cardinal Ritter has a new coach in Randy Reed. The Ritter players appeared to be adjusting and got better each game. Ritter will be in the Borgia Thanksgiving tourney next week and I expect they will not disappoint and could win a championship. Nice guy Randy Reed is going to Washington, Missouri to raise the championship trophy if the improvement continue.
