Can't buy them from Walmart, since they are involved in this. That may be the best part of this whole thing, well that and the governor of Texas actually taking it seriously!

Nice to see so many people having fun with this.

Kinda sad to me how so many people distrust our federal government.

No doubt a product of absolutely no leadership.

Maybe next election we will elect a leader, and not an empty suit poser.

It's a reflection on the far right wing echo chamber not a reflection on the president. Place the blame where it belongs.

The Internet has allowed people to share and soak up these conspiracy theories more than ever possible. That's a major factor in all of this.

The crazies in Texas think the military is going round up people they consider a threat and incarcerate them in Wal Mart stores.[/QUOT

you are absolutely correct. No leadership.
Real leadership in the republican party would have the balls to tell constituents to stop wasting energy on being a birther or Obama's going to take our guns or denying climate change science and focus on truly important issues that can improve our country. Ironically you nailed the problem.

As usual, Jon Stewart nails it. "What would Rick Perry do? Ag you used to talk more moderate, and reasonable. Now you talk more FoxNews right wing kool-aid drinking. Not far removed from drop and miller. Move back to the middle! You will be happier, because you won't be as bitter at the scary satanic socialist in office.

I guess I missed that in my post.

I stated that it was sad so many people distrusted our federal government. Is that "fox news right wing Kool-Aid drinking?

I also stated we don't have an effective leader, a point which I stand by. Does that make me a Kool-Aid drinking right wing nut?

I still believe I am moderate and reasonable, but who knows.....:)

It's one thing to say we don't have an effective leader; it's another to say that it is his fault that crazy people do crazy things. That's on them.

It is not his fault crazy people do crazy things, and I did not say that.

I said he was not an effective leader. If he was, far less people would be distrustful of the government. I also never said I agree with said people, just that it is sad that so many people, have so little faith, that he is doing good for the country.

Which in turn, proves my point.

What are some things that I have post from FoxNews that makes me a kool-aid drinker. Be specific. Thanks. Have a nice day.

Obama is not a great president but he's pretty clearly better than his predecessor, yet we didn't have as much of this nonsense 10 years ago.

We had more of this back in the 1990's when we had a good President than we did under Bush. Anytime a D comes in office there is an element in this country that goes nuts with conspiracy theories. There's some equivalent to this on the left but their natural inclination isn't that the government is out to get them, so it manifests in a different way.

The fact is that the amount of this ignorance on the right is higher, right now, than on the left. That has much more to do with the President being a D than anything to do with his competence as a President.

In the world of today, it's become much easier for hyperpartisans to believe these ridiculous theories when all the media they seek out reaffirms their beliefs. You and I may not read infowars or abovetopsecret every day, but plenty of people do so.

WTF are you smoking?

9/11 didn't have any of those theories did they.................

He can't be both an ineffective leader and also ruin our country with a socialist agenda. You may not like his policies, but an ineffective leader does not accomplish the policies he has implemented.
The distrust of our government did not start with this president.

Yes, he can be an ineffective leader and make bad policy, and head down the wrong road.

If you don't think a leader can be ineffective and make bad decisions, ask the men who rode with Custer.........oh wait

It really doesn't matter how accurate your statements are if you dissagree with the libs you must be a "crazy fox news guy". I can't remember the last time I watched FNC (maybe election night) but that is their shtick.

WTF are you smoking?

9/11 didn't have any of those theories did they.................

When the lefty crazies show up they are just exceptions but the righties are the norm, don't you know.
People (many people) on the left thought Obama was gonna buy them a house and give them gas and electricity when they voted for him. That doesn't sound crazy does it.

You're right, I retract that statement from above.

Also FEMA camps post Katrina.

Note these are all generally right-wing things we're thinking of because the left generally doesn't make the same assumption about there being some vast conspiracy to enslave us all.

NM has a hard time reading accurately. He always says conservatives say things they don't but never admits it.

Amazing you would post this in the same thread where someone on the right (Drop) has already readily admitted that the substance of what I am saying is true.

Also I didn't say "conservatives" here I spoke of the far right.

The crazy fox news guy schtick is defined by inaccuracy and hyperbole. Things like claiming the AP history test causes people to join ISIS.

There are plenty of people who are conservatives who don't fit in this mold.

Did you read anything else that was posted in this thread? sheesh.

Also you need to leave the pretend world where everything happens equally on both sides. The hucksterism and pushing of conspiracy theories is higher on the right in American politics in 2015. It's not true in the world where sitting members of Congress played "I don't know but..." games with the birther stuff. A certain segment of the R base rewards them for this.

You said Ag Man said things he didn't as you often do. Then you make a post that avoids that (like this one).

You also said there were more on the right. That is your opinion. You also frequently call out conservatives on here as far right when they haven't said what you say they have.

Did you read anything else that was posted in this thread? sheesh.

I've read the whole thing. I guess I missed the parts where you called the lefties crazy. The one post you kind of admitted it (katrina/fema) was posted while I was making mine.

The crazy fox news guy gets his info from somewhere that is getting it from Fox. You can go to Fox and see all the thug and animal remarks that can be read on here.

Maybe we should all just read what is being said, instead of what we think we want them to mean. I have Never watched Fox News in my life, but I have been accused of being a "right wing zealot ", "a fox bot", " parroting fox news" , and " republican talking points".

Please, ....... Entertain me, liberals can say anything they want about a conservative, and it is quite alright, but if someone questions the almighty Obama, we are a racist, and a far right wing foxbot.

I would vote for Dr. Carson , as I think he is a good man. So racist, no, I just think Obama has been a big failure. Why when someone disagrees with a liberal, they are the spawn of satan?

I am an independent, but after being on this board 3 or 4 years I am certainly leaning Republican, they are a lot more open minded and not so judgemental.

And before you yell that republicans are against gay marriage, abortion and premarital sex, remember, Democrats are for them, and spend a large amount of time railing against Republicans..... So who is judgemental ?
