Backup QB filled in very nicely. Not a problem at all.

I wasn't sure how much of a drop off this would be, but the backup looks accurate, and seems to really be able to run the offence. I'll bet he enjoyed getting some meaningful snaps.

Maybe not with quite the finesse of Welker, but that could be understood given the short time he had to prepare to fill the shoes of a two-time, first team all-state quarterback.

Sorry but I have to disagree on that one. Carthage came out on top but it was a slugfest and there were two extremely talented QBs on the field. It was one of the more entertaining final games I've seen.
