OK, you MOsports historians, I have a question that I have NO idea what the answer is.
Friday, Oct. 11: Princeton at Maysville. It's Maysville's homecoming and Princeton's fourth consecutive homecoming (Princeton vs. Milan, then Trenton, Putnam County and now, Maysville).
That's got to be some kind of record, doesn't it?:rolleyes:

In Maysville's defense, this week is their last home game.
In Putnam's defense, my Unionville spies tell me the coaches want homecoming earlier in the season.
I'll let you folks figure out Trenton's reasoning.

Either my soph or junior year I think we played 3 or 4. Pretty sure we were 0fer in all of them, guess the extra time at half didn't help with adjustments.

Sometimes, there just isn't enough time.

I thought that homecoming was always the 3rd home game of the year regardless of who you are playing.

Usually if your a bad team opponents will have you for their homecoming game.

Union Star had all four of their away games were homecomings one year.

Not sure you are alone... I remember covering a team that was the Homecoming "victim" for at least four teams plus their own Homecoming. It really isnt that uncommon, I dont think, especially for a team that traditionally struggles (may not be the your case)

I know one year we played in 2 or 3 different homecoming games and my son was the QB for us. He(his jersey) was depicted in 4 different floats that year being eaten by dragons, crushed by buildings, etc. We both LOL

I bet the old Liberal or Golden City teams have a few homecoming games under their belt. Maybe not the most in a year but maybe in a decade???

Yep. You just looked at the schedule to see which one was a home game and you knew when homecoming was.
There was a year (long ago) when Miller scheduled Stockton for homecoming. They didn't leave the field during the coronation. Always wondered if they didn't know what to do or were just pissed. Miller stomped them (and Stockton was good then).
