I could've seen them putting in Notre Dame if it was only 4 teams, but not sure they would've penalized Penn St for losing the Big 10 title game.

I understand they were out of whack and I don't agree with them, but look at the actual final standings.

I would argue that there isnt ANY path to a national championship that is "easy". Coach Franklin has a terrible history in big games. Heck, MY PENN STATE NITTANY LIONS didnt even get the benefit of a first round bye! But you gotta admit. These playoff games, his teams were READY!! He's earned himself one more season at Penn State

agreed. UGA lost their QB and got put in that weak bracket. FSU lost their QB last year and got left out.
