Is the bye working against the top four? 🤔

Texas was the better team got out of jail free today. Look out next week vs. the winner of this Ohio State - Oregon game. So far that is going just as I suspected. Uncharted waters for the unbeaten saw that right here in KMO a month ago.
The KMO boys needed that PH game later in year. They forgot what good was. PH would route LN.

WELP! 🤣

Looks like the bye teams are going to go 0-4 just like the away teams went 0-4 in the first round 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think the top four conference champs should be auto-included in the playoff, but not auto top four 🤷🏻‍♂️
Remind me again why Boise was in with a bye? The whole setup was just wonky.

Do away with conf championship games. Pointless. Put the B1G, B12, ACC, and SEC champ in automatically. Then find the 12 best teams. Then seed them and play ball. It’s just really not hard when you think about it.

I wouldn't care who the conference champs were.

Do it by ranking. This year would be like this in my case.
2 brackets of 12 for 24 total. Bowls could be tied in (some will die on the vine but they probably need to).

1 Oregon vs. winner of 8 South Carolina vs. 9 BYU
2 Texas vs. winner of 7 Miami vs. 10 Mizzou
3 Notre Dame vs. winner of 6 Alabama vs. 11 Syracuse
4 Tennessee vs. winner of 5 Boise St. vs. 12 Colorado

1 Georgia vs. winner of 8 Clemson vs. 9 Iowa St.
2 Penn St. vs. winner of 7 Ole Miss vs. 10 Illinois
3 Ohio St. vs. winner of 6 Arizona St. vs. 11 Army
4 Indiana vs. winner of 5 SMU vs. 12 UNLV

Drop any and all FCS games and an additional regular season game and go with this.

I like the premise. 24 seems way too many though. Reg season has to have some weight.
