I just finished perusing the top 247 players in Georgia! And ten of the top 100, are playing for the Grayson Rams next season! And we already knew that another ten of the top tier players would be playing for Marietta High! NOW, keep in mind, that both of those PUBLIC schools are in metro areas, but have districts of only four square miles! Creative player acquisition anyone?
This hasn't been an issue in Georgia until recently, because we supposedly don't have open enrollment! But since 2016, when Grayson bought them a 7A championship, it was only a problem in smaller schools such as Buford, Rome, and Calhoun! My question is, is it a problem in the public schools in Mizzou? The trend seems to be perpetuating the end of high school football as it was just twenty years ago, and THAT'S a shame! High school athletics in general, and football in particular, was the ONLY PURE form of sport that we had!
