I get it that our starting qb rb rb te lt de de are out and we have 3 soph lineman starting and every other exuse i am trying to tell myself but.....where is the damn energy and heart?
Agree but if the starting QB wasn’t out for the year he would hide a lot of these issues. Kid is absolutely electric. Just think they are going to be very average this year but should be right back competing for bigger things next year.
Doubt anyone competes with a "healthy" team next year but this is gonna be a long one.
I never understood why Webb thought He was as good as JRod, he's not a good play caller and not a good coach. Terrible hiring decision

Welcome to the season of mediocrity. Webb will be lucky to beat Neosho, and Carthage should be favored by at least 2TDs. A winning record and maybe a playoff win is about the best we can hope for. A weird year but at least we will have a traditional Thanksgiving.
Honestly it looks a little like Carthage last year. They may come back strong late in the season when they get a few players either back on the field or get some experience under these other kids belts.
Neosho’s offense is producing more points per game than Webb. Based on how WC’s Defense looked tonight…Neosho should be favored…we will find out in 2 weeks!
Honestly. This will be webb. We graduate a lot. Run an advanced offense. Lots of new faces every year. We will start rough and then once the seniors slowly get replaced that cant do it they will be a tough out in playoffs. Webb just not growing like every other school. Inexperience at coaching also. 7 coaches under 25 years old. Roll with the punches.
I want to see WC be successful. Just not seeing it tonight or this year to be honest. The Lebanon win was a gift from the Yellow Jackets if you look it with your eyes open.
