I've watched this Cubs series on the tube. Is it just me or does it sound like Busch Stadium is full of Cubs fans? I know there will be some due to the rivalry, but goodness. Every time something positive happens for the Cubs it seems like the stadium erupts. Maybe it's my hearing, maybe it's my tv. I guess it gives me another reason to watch games muted (other than Dan and Al of course)...

Don't worry, you're not crazy

There were more of us than Cardinal fans

I have gone to many Cubs vs Birds game in St Louis and Chicago and the splits have always been there ,but when your team is done after 1 or 2 innings not much to cheer about

I'd bet that donut that we were louder and outnumbered the Cardinals after the top of the 2nd

I'd also bet that I'm just busting you guys on that.

Yes there were more cardinal fans. But the cubs there were incredibly loud. I had to listen to the Cardinal fans behind me complain about how rude the Cubs fans were because they were so loud when cheering for Rizzo and Castro

I guarantee you the profanity in my basement was louder than anything occurring in the stadium. :p. The cubs lineup makes STL look like the Webb City LL team.

Just got back to the Lake from the game today. Lots of Cubbies fans making noise first couple innings. And then crickets from both fanbases for the next five innings or so. Odd game. The Cubs had a pitcher on the mound that can't throw to 1B. The Birds had a CF'er playing that can't throw period (my head almost popped off when he flipped the ball to JHey in the first and allowed the run to score). Fun comeback win, and nice to salvage a game!

A bit worried about CMart. I know he's not the worlds quickest worker, but he was agonizingly slow today. Throw a pitch, snap at the ball, stomp around, dig a bit, and then get back on the rubber. Duuuuude...just get the ball back, get on the rubber and pitch. I couldn't imagine having to play behind him today. Need him to get it going again, and soon!

According to TV guys he got the error on his pickoff move to 1st that got away. That was about a good as you could throw it on a pickoff attempt, Reynolds just flat out missed it. I agree with your concern, he has not been very good for a few starts now.

Moss, I think...but agreed, he should've come up with that ball. I think Reynolds was at 3B.
