Only prediction is may be a bit chilly tomorrow night (this time of year can be way worse go back to 2008 and 2013 among other late Novembers) but Saturday looks AMAZING weather wise.
I am waiting on word from one of my HS classmate buddies either going to LSN, Warrensburg or sitting tomorrow night out but 100 percent Liberty bound Saturday.
If you thought hosting Webb City in the 2008 semis brought lots of neutral fans etc. oh just wait IF this matchup happens!
What will have more attendees. Nixa LSN or Karney V. LN ?

LN's gate (again if this game happens) won't be anywhere near Webb's. I really felt for those St. Mary's kids two years ago. This atmosphere will likely be somewhat like that but hope I am wrong.......................

Haha they have a couple of great power runners (Marriott is physical as it gets as a runner, too) one with pretty amazing speed and moves so Platte likely wouldn't care. We shall see how things go never know this time of year.

Not really. I've seen top drawer players like this kid (they also have a good RB) force the pace of games and make plays especially given he is a SR ergo all is on the line for his HSFB tenure.
Overall, though, yes Kearney is a pretty heavy favorite heading into this one.
2018 District Championship weekend was frigid! Wind chill around 15. Not a great time!
There was also a playoff game I attended at Milan in 2013 that was around 10. The hot chocolate did nothing!
Several real cold November ones out there indeed: 1986 Kearney vs. O'Hara at Center. 2008 Smith-Cotton at Kearney then Webb City at Kearney the following week. 2013 Kearney at Lee's Summit West. 2014 Helias Catholic at Kearney. 2017 St. Joseph Lafayette at Kearney. 2018 Smithville at Platte County. 2022 CBC at Liberty North (worst wind ever).
2002 Adrian at Santa Fe was as cold a game as I can remember. Great game.
There were others but been too long for me to remember exact games. 1995 was rough so was 1997 as I recall. Only reason I remember 1986 so distinctly was because it was Kearney's first ever playoff game plus that was a historic cold November.
Ah another bad one was 1991. First week of November was unreal.............
2013 and 2018 definitely stick out to me as the coldest I can remember. Now I stay in the comfort of my warm and cozy home and watch from the sofa!

Huge delay remember living in the City and getting circa 3-4 hours bedtime that Monday night. Sleet storm Kearney hosting Staley 2008 was another dandy.

Preaching to the choir when it comes to racing. That is purely a warm to hot weather sport. This past August in Knoxville IA had to run the heat and defogger coming home! Upper 40s by end of race that was beyond freaky....................but usually that is a March/April or October issue.

Now that you mention it, 1985 playing Wellington at Wentworth was actually colder than 2002.
Yep another historic November. We had LOTS of cold weather late 70s-all the 80s. Not football but it will never get worse than December 1989.
Only been to Knoxville once, it absolutely poured.....then went to Iowa speedway the next day. Fun weekend! I need Bosko to teach me his ways!!!

I think you’re going to be disappointed. I heard a quote from Minnick saying this was the fastest, most violent and physical HS defense he has ever seen or been around.
I do not think Wburg scores on the starters. The speed is real. The slowest guy on the starting D is their weak side Defensive end who runs a 4.9 and is a tough kid

Logan was the D Line coach here before going to Raytown so he'd know and yes I was told the same weeks and weeks back cannot wait to see how the unit looks Week 13 vs. Weeks 1-6.
