No real earth shattering points made here that hasn't been said already, but interesting take on the current game. Goose Gossage would be a fun guy to sit down over a beer and listen to him rant. I get both sides of the arguments. Times have changed, and so should the game to some extent, but you hear more and more of these guys saying its a bad product to watch.

I honestly can't understand how anyone would think what is currently going on is a great product. There's literally zero action for about 80% of the game. Maybe more. It's really hard to watch, and I'd assume most think that.

I watch way too much on TV, but I frequently point out to my wife how bored and inattentive the fans in the stands are for most of the games.

Will Clark would be a guy to talk baseball with too. The stuff he said last night and what Ankiel said about him tonight make him standout even more than I had imagined when he was Cardinal.

Yes he was fun to listen to. You can tell he didn't take any crap. Hard nosed, old school type of player. As I get older I forget about guys like that and how solid of players they were.
