I have never been to Fort Zumwalt West before yesterday. When I saw the stadium I was a bit surprised. I’ve seen class 1 stadiums with more visitor seating and better lighting. Class 4 Camdenton much nicer. On the positive side, All the folks there were very nice. I suppose they met the 2500 MSHSAA guideline. Joplin traveled well and probably had more fans drive 4.5 hours there and back than West fans show up at home.

Also, I thought the West home jerseys were rather interesting. When they first came out for warmups I thought they had their practice jerseys on. Dark gray jersey with dark number and not enough contrast to distinguish the number. If half the team is named Marvin Buke, I guess the number really doesn’t matter anyway. Jk

You see a lot of that in the Metro areas. People just don’t care for whatever reason.

I don’t believe that type of jersey will be allowed starting 2021 season

St Louis football, especially on a Saturday isnt going to get the fan support, there is just too much other stuff that can be done. It isn’t like a smaller community, it’s one of 4 Zumwalt High schools and one of many in the area. That’s not a dig on places like Joplin or Jackson, it’s just how football is in Stl

Joplin really needs to improve their visitor stands as well. Now that we're in the COC, there are many more visitors attending games. That didn't happen in the OC. Needs more stands, bathrooms and a concession stand on the visitors side.

I was at the game at Ray-Pec Saturday afternoon and DeSmet traveled extremely well to Raymore. Nearly filled the visitors section. Was very impressed with the number of fans that made the trip.

All boys school, I think CBC and DeSmet travel pretty good
