Neshek is having a mind boggling, near historic season.

However, my wife says I have been more wrong on numerous occasions.

True story...But I believe if this team makes the playoffs and then actually wins some games once there...Wong and Willy (not to be confused with Willy's wong) are the key. Man, when those guys rake the offense seems to score runs in bunches. When they don't, meh, somewhere between 0-2 runs.

Neshek has been quite good but it's kind of silly to suggest he's been more valuable than Waino.

No, it's silly to not consider him. He will have factored into almost three times as many appearances as Waino, and the vast majority of those are pressure packed. In no way is it a slam dunk, and you may even be correct but it's close.
 
Pretty hard to compare the value of guys that throw less pitches in a week than a starter does in one game. The Birds, and any other team that has been successful, need ALL of them pitching well to get anything done. There's a reason good starters make more than good relievers, and even good closers.
