The judge in the case about Trump paying off women just before the election told the SDNY prosecutors he would NOT keep the documents sealed as they had requested and they were released today. He told them the public needs to see them and make judgments on them on their own. The docs show MANY calls between Trump and Cohen during the time this all went down and pretty much it's just like Cohen said it was. Trump knew exactly what was going on as did other people in the Trump organization that denied knowing what was going on. Looks like Cohen is the only one telling the truth about it and the only in jail for it.

To get off Scott free you would have first done something to violate the law that was deserving of jail time.

Take a look at how many times Obama and Clinton agreed to pay fines because of campaign finance violations. Nobody ever even hinted they should be criminally charged.

This is my position. Cohen pled guilty to something to end the bleeding of cash a government prosecution costs you. In any normal case he would have got a small fine. I don't see how you can call what he did a "campaign contribution" to begin with. It had value but what value and how was it a donation?
