Hypocrites:

1. you criticize a new mosports member for having multiple IDs so he can post more than a couple of times a day due to Rivals restricting the posts when you spend day and night defending an illegitimate president who used aliases like “John Barron” and “David Dennison” in calls to the media.

2. you accuse Pelosi of using a tragedy for political gain while your president is using coronavirus to shut down the USPS to enrich his donors. You won’t be happy until it costs poor Americans $15 to Fedex their family members a birthday card. Scum.

So you are a democrat??

1. I didn't realize Rivals limits the number of posts one person (handle) can make in one day. What number is the max?? It amazes me the number posts some guys make during the day. I get bored with the same 5-6 guys going over and over the same ol' ground every day.

Case in point; Why can't we all agree that everyone, with the exception of top US scientists, underestimated the magnitude of the coronavirus on our daily lives?

2. It angers me that any politician would use this crisis for political advantage and both parties are guilty. Pelosi trying to tack on abortion legislation on the stimulus package was despicable. And apparently Trump mentioned for the second time yesterday his poll ratings in his daily press conferences updating the nation on covid. Just as despicable.

New members are limited. But it is kind of random. I can do 2 or 3 posts, then it blocks me for several hours. If I had a paid subscription I could post as many as I want.

I already knew why you were using multiple accounts was because of the post limit.

USPS bailouts. Bahahaha

I've been on here for YEARS and have NEVER had a post blocked because it was too many in one day or a certain number of hours. This is the first time I've heard any such thing is all the years I've been on here as non member. When did that start?

Its not going away.
I know some folks in the postal business and if you think it hasn't been broke for a long time you have no idea what your'e talking about. Can you imagine what email, texting and cell phones in general has done to postal revenue?

but why bail it out now... makes no sense. Private industry will do it better anyways. Let it fail if it isn't efficient. Capitalism is better!

no. They won’t. There will an oligopoly (that’s an industry with a relatively small number of competitors) and it will end up costing $10 to send a Christmas card.

How many things can you send via Fed Ex or UPS for 55 cents?
I guarantee if they had to make a profit they would do things differently. That’s the nature of innovation. There is no incentive for the usps to work any differently.

The whole point to start this little run of discussion is that it was ill timed and opportunistic of the liberals to throw that junk in when it was about supporting people who were out of work.

I don’t like this stimulus. Spend the money on testing and get everyone back to work.

? I just don’t see any substantive evidence or cases where the government is more efficient that private industry. Because there is no incentive to be.

Its unreal what you don’t understand.

What incentive does ups or fedex have to deliver daily to remote locations out west or up north? None.

Getting rid of the usps will have a very negative impact on rural America where you have always been guaranteed mail delivery daily.

Mailing a graduation card to my nephew for 55 cents is something good for me. Sending that same card via fed ex for $8 in not preferable.

Me as well non-member...I post a crap ton right in a row and none are blocked that I know of?

USPS workers are over paid and over pensioned. The system is inefficient like most gov. agency's and they are only interested in servicing themselves as opposed to helping the Taxpayer... UPS/FedX,Faxing,Email,Texting etc. have basically turned them into a Junk mail delivery service.

It's time for them to down size and go lean and mean with minimum wage workers....

Then Text your Xmas greetings with emoji faces. Or pay the 10 bucks and shut up. Why should the taxpayer prop up a antiquated service.

Ahh so you want the U.S. taxpayers to foot the bill in some failing gov. agency that can't break even so you won't have to pay 8 bucks to send a Card? Really that is your logic?

How often do you use the USPS? Up until a month ago I had not used them to mail anything in over 7 or 8 years, I suspect most people are in the same boat that is why they are going broke.....Now a Month ago they removed the At&T payment machine from the local branch. They want everyone to go to Auto payment. I refuse to go that route. So I got some stamps and started mailing checks because I know it cost At&t more to process my checks etc. So now I'm using the USPS but I'm not going to whine about it if I have to go to Auto pay or think the Tax payers should throw money away on a failed agency.

Why have a national highway system that goes to less populous states if MGHS doesn’t use it? Why have national parks if MGHS doesn’t visit them? Remember what goes on at MGHS’ hospital is representative of the entire country. Get out of your bubble bro.
There are other people, places, and things that you obviously aren’t familiar with.

Numerous Nurses and doctors have died, but hey people who fear this virus are cowards? This is a new low, even for Trump lovers.

Can't argue with that! I have a good memory and I believe the same could have been said when Obama was in office. He could resign:cool:

So you also had blind, irrational hatred and rage for our last President?

I don't believe that is what you are saying but I read it that way.

I voted for BHO (first term only) but I never felt that way towards Mr. Obama.

USPS system is broken and dead. Everything is digital now. The cost alone for mailing ads is outrageous compared to what they can do just on FB alone. Sure the older generation still uses mail but it’s definitely turning away from that.

Your utility bills all can be paid online/over the phone. No need to mail a check in anymore. If you want to send $20 to your grandkid for his/her birthday, now you Venmo or PayPal or whatever other payment app.

Email is taking over everything. Why would the post dispatch print thousands of copies of their paper when the entire world can go online and read it??? Dollars and cents man.

My wife and I get only two pieces of mail to our home: junk mail, and a random newspaper that the prior home buyer I guess forgot that he still pays for his subscription to our address. Everything else is emailed.

Pros - Many small businesses don't have Autopay option to make payments and some poor people don't have checking accounts to Autopay.
And USPS does hire many vets. JOBS!! (and let's not pretend there aren't expendable gov jobs elsewhere).
Many people, like myself, like to keep our electronic footprint as small as possible to avoid ID theft.

Cons - yes the USPS loses money.
All business could be handled electronically.
Paperless business is very close to being a reality.

Within 10 yrs, I expect the USPS to be overhauled or closed down.

Over 100,000 vets are employed by USPS.
Repubs hate the military.

I agree with your statements except this one. Autopay has no correlation to the USPS service. People can call in and still pay. Or they can drive to the location. Or if they don’t have a checking account, they aren’t sending cash through the mail to pay for their bills.

And why wouldn’t the small business have an autopay option?? Are there many legally ran business that simply deal in cash and cash only and don’t report their earnings?
