...the skill position players come out to warm up first (that’s typical), BUT THEN, when the lineman do come out, the skill position players stop what they’re doing and make a handshake tunnel for the lineman (one of the coolest things I’ve seen at a football game)

Handshake tunnel like what basketball teams do?

Pretty cool idea!

Football players that also play baseball in the summer (american legion ) have it brutal. I remember my days in the summer would go ...weights 6:30-8:30 passing league practice 12-1:30 then go play a double header in baseball 5-9....and you're right ...I'd get a bit out of shape during spring baseball season which made it even more brutal lol!

It's awesome. Kids get absolutely hype when the hogs take the field. Even better is when they're in the stretch line and CCR comes on. Team gets wild

I thought it was the song by The Hollies called Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress!

Another thing Lamar does started last year at Valle. After the game is over, they ask the opposing team to join them at midfield for a group prayer. So far, every team except the team they beat in the state championship game last year has joined them. It is quite a show of sportsmanship to have two teams that have battled for 48 minutes to join hands and give all the glory to God.

I can't remember the players name from Seneca but his testimony and prayer after last years Seneca was one of the best.

Will be interesting to see if this tradition continues after a Lamar loss(es).

In the meantime, I like it!
